Cate lead with 25 to go and finished 6th way behind there WR. Stupid having finals at 11:30pm (not an excuse just saying, said it all week)

Going to be interesting to see the splits. Both girls are probably medalist between the flags (especially based on the 30 m of the first lap) but the technical aspects of the swim, start and turn are where they probably lost the medals.

Somemthing we've always been a bit week on in Australian swimming.

Perkins lost the 1991 1500 m World Champs on the turns, DQing in relays in the past
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I have noticed that they tend to do that in the lead up to all their events. Clearly their way of dealing with the pressure. May be time for a re think after the results today.
