As it stands now the EPL only has 2 direct entries to the CL, with another 2 forced to go through qualifiers so they are effectively proving they are more deserving of a spot than most others in Europe as they generally make it through ... The French have a tough time believing there is anyone better and I also fear there is ulterior motive behind this ...

Watched most of their game against Chelsea on the weekend and thought they were very stiff to go down, to say they look lively up front is a massive understatement ... Even the best of teams struggle to put 3 past the bouncing Cech ... How nice would it have been to see Defoe's awesome late run and strike find the back of the net!!
