Portugal 2-1 Netherlands
Denmark 1-2 Germany
Germany and Portugal through
The Dutch go home empty handed and pointless, dont know why I continue to waste my money on these underperforming hacks, they always let me down.
The Danes were the unlucky side, performed admirally in the Group of death and would have qualified out of nearly any other group

Magnificent performance by Ronaldo to help his country into the next round.

Denmark were also impressive, I agree that they would have probably qualified if they were in another group. Imagine if they were in Group A instead? Would have topped it.

Embarassing for the more 'fancied' teams that lose to Greece perhaps. Clearly they know their limitations and show time and again what can be achieved through astute tactics, organisation and good old fashioned guts and determination. As they say....'you make your own luck'.

Greece has already exceeded expectations by getting to the quarters and will play with nothing to lose against the Germans. Tough ask as it would be for any team, (but) may fortune keep favouring the brave.

Drama late on
Spain score in the 88th to go 1-0 up
Ireland have a man sent off in the 88th and Balotelli scores seconds later to put Italy up 2-0

Huge blunder by the ref and linesman, Ukraine goal not given, Terry clears the ball from 1m over the goal line!!!
How can they miss that?

Just showed the replay, the ref was right on the goal line and had a perfect view. He should be dropped from remainder of tournament for that

In injury time the ref misses a hand ball against Terry, Ukraine should have had a penalty
