Oranje seem to be controlling it and dominating possession but lack that final ball to give themselves a decent opportunity...

Both keepers must ne pretty fresh, havent done much at all
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Dutch keeper probably should have saved the last two, his reaction times aren't great from spot kicks .. And always easy to say with hindsight, but maybe subbing RVP so late wasn't a great idea - Could have lead off their penalties again and they could have put Krul in goal.

Sneidjer (sp?) didn't look like he wanted to take his pen. Looked like he was shitting himself. The keeper looked about to cry as he awaited his fate.
Argentina clinical in the pens

Sneijder was well down on his best tonight unfortunately .. Gotta admire the heart of the Dutch, last two world cup campaigns they have busted their asses against more fancied opponents. Massive respect for them.

Imho

First pen was an absolute shocker half way between the keeper and post and neither high or low just the perfect diving height

Second pen was well taken and just a brilliant save from the keeper, in saying that it has to be hit either along the ground or go real high, it's the most basic rule of taking a pen

Second was a good save on review but the first was a woeful penalty. Hit with the venom of 5 year old. Needed to atleast put some pepper on it. Very poor attempt from a good player.

Also reports that Colombian Defender Juan Zuniga has received death threats related to his 'tackle' on Neymar - lets hope we don't have a repeat of Andreas Escobar - surely society has evolved enough to ensure this doesn't happen again?

I have watched the Brazil v Germany Semi Final a couple of times now (particularly the 1st half) & I must say:
I think the defending is suspect, in terms of possible 'match fixing' - the marking was non-existent & the 'efforts' to stop the Germans was pathetic.
I am concerned that a couple of Brazilian Defenders may well have been 'nobbled' :(

Thoughts?

I don't think that's the case as u surely wouldn't let five in a half through, that makes it look suspect.

If you were on the take u would have given the Germans the first two and then started playing from there.

Plus David Luiz is just a shit defender

Also having played so much football with and against South Americans there temperament is to be very easily rattled. I could imagine with the two player loses at the start of the week they would have been fairly negative about their chances. Thrown in the early goal and they then just eat each other alive
