Ajax 0-2 United
United put them to the sword in the 2nd half after being battered in the first half. Should be able to see them off at home

Great result for United. Good to see them take every game seriously at this stage of the season and they can rest a player or two for the next leg.

Only bad news is we have lost Valencia for a month with a hamstring injury

United scrape through after a disgraceful 1-2 loss at home to Ajax. Chicarito gave us an early lead too.

We did what we had to. Fielded a weakened side and they never looked like winning.
Just need to stop conceding late goals, wasnt our best tonight but job done.
Tough next round, will need to be at our best

Very happy we are out, shouldnt have been in it in the first place.
In the scheme of things id rate a League Cup higher than the Europa.
Can worry about the real stuff now
