Put to the sword. If we're going to bomb out of the champions league please, please don't finish 3rd. I don't want the thursday night games before an EPL match.

Reckon you still may qualify.
Should come down to the last game, you should beat Zagreb at home and can't see the Greeks getting a point in Munich. Very patched up side today against a quality side who copped heaps of criticism for their game at the Emirates. Bayern were filthy on some of the bad press from that game.

Our squad is so thin I's rather not make it out. Did you see what our bench looked like this morning? Less games we play outside the EPL the better

Can also make it through by 1 goal of the score is 3-2, 4-3 etc.
would think you will win 3 or 4 nil though

How do we go through with only a one goal win? They scored 3 away goals. I actually don't know how this system works

Goes on head to head not GD.
They beat you 3-2 so if you match that then it goes to GD and you are miles ahead.
If you win 1-0 or 2-1 though that doesn't beat 3-2 so they would go through.
So basically if you score under 3 goals you must win by 2 or if you score 3 or more you only need to win by 1

Most comps that have group stages go on head to head results over goal difference.
Don't think it will matter in the end, you should easily account for them even though I'd imagine they will park the bus

Sorry, only UEFA ran events.
The Euro qualifiers and the Euro champs itself are ran this way.
Aswell as the Europa and CL some European leagues use this also. I believe FIFA are looking at introducing it for the next WC

I don't know why I get up to watch, it's truly painful. LVG might be on the right track but it doesn't make it watchable.

Went down 3-2, even a draw wouldn't of been enough though. We don't deserve to go through. Play the kids in the Europa and concentrate on the league now

The Premier League could be down to 3 CL spots after next season with Serie A getting the extra spot. It's a bit of a long winded article that goes into how the points systems for country's acceptance into the CL are worked out but it paints the picture that unless PL sides lift their games in both the CL and Europa then its all about Top 3 instead of Top 4 for the PL. This doesn't bode well for my Gunners who seem to love finishing 4th

Can't see it happening this year, Serie A sides are also struggling and don't think Italy will quite get their coefficient up this year, it is a possibility though
