Postby Wedgie » Thu Aug 04, 2016 10:02 am

Spurs have already sold almost all available tickets at Wembley to their first three champions league games for the season.
Not bad for three unknown teams on three unknown dates.
Draw to be done 25/8.

Geez, Wenger makes it hard for Arsenal sometimes. When he brought Giroud on and moved Sanchez to the wing the team performs so much better. We started the second half so much better but we looked more solid when Giroud came on. If he starts Sanchez up front he needs to change the formation, we still play like Girouds up front. Ospina was massive and had about 4 one on ones with Cavani and won them all. easily MOTM

Great win by Leicester over Club Brugge away.
Spurs lost to Monaco 2-1 in front of a record crowd for an English clubs home game with over 85K at Wembley.

They don't get great crowds anyway but today was special circumstances. Was postponed from yesterday due to torrential rain and many supporters that had tickets were unable to attend today. I think there were several thousand travelling Germans that took a 1 day package tour and had to return home

Arsenal making the round of 16 each year is as certain as the sun comes up each day. Usually from there onwards it goes pear shape
