I don't usually venture too far out of the Footy part of this place, first time I've set foot in the Soccer forum. Watching on my phone in bed, the reaction to the equaliser (winner) may keep me in the doghouse forever but it was worth it. I didn't know there were fellow Yids around these parts. As good as Lucas was, some of Dele's work (despite his casual approach) was just as important. Hugo as well.

Scary to think how good Ajax could be if they chose to keep their group together.

I didn't know there were fellow Yids around these parts. Will be interesting to see how we back up vs Everton on Sunday.

Got Spurs at $9 to lift the trophy yesterday, sick of making $$ off my sporting teams failures (North and Liverpool last year, this weekend when City wraps it up). Be nice if this one fell through lol

I've watched the game, the reactions, the higjlights, over and over. I still can't believe it!

A nice aside was that Arsenal's manager sold us Moura when he was at PSG. Legend! :D

He looked pretty good when he ran onto the pitch celebrating!
Probably start on the bench I'd say.

And Arsenal and Chelsea get through to the Europa Final.
If Arsenal win the final England will have 5 teams in the champions league next year.
What would the odds have been on 4 English teams making it to the finals with not one from Manchester!

Got a terrible nagging feeling that Tottenham have that "written in the stars" feeling about them, a bit like North Adelaide last year. They needed a favourable result from another side in the Group stages (maybe PSV?) to stay alive, have battled manfully against injury, survived a controversial final against City, pulled off a miracle in the Semi and have their Captain and most important player likely to just come up in time for the final. Shitting bricks already.

Supporters of the 4 English teams playing in the Champions League and Europa cup finals aren't very happy with the ticket allocations. Liverpool and Spurs share 33,000 tickets out of the 68,000 stadium capacity in Madrid. Tickets are already being resold at £5,500. For those lucky enough to get a ticket, they will be faced with very high prices for airfares and accommodation.
Chelsea and Arsenal, get it much worse, mainly because the final is in Baku, which is only 2,500 miles from London. They get to share 12,000 out of 68,000.

And no direct flights to Baku at that time of the week so need a transit in Frankfurt, Istanbul or Moscow

EUFA are all crooks, but don't think that surprises anyone. Apparently the biggest allocation goes to Sponsors, EUFA members and their friends and family.

At least Platini will be spewing with all the pommy teams in, can't stand that prick

Even having it in a country like Azerbaijan raises questions.

City under investigation and could be removed from the Champions League.

Would this mean another from England would take their spot?
