I agree. The clubs at the top of the league are famous clubs, there's a rotating roster of them and they draw big crowds. It's almost always a close race, especially with the playoffs now (even if the wrong team occasionally goes up).

Cardiff are near the top for once, hopefully we can keep it up and at least make it to the playoffs.. a berth in the Premier League would be surreal. But are we famous? Well we are the only team from outside England to win the FA Cup

I think Cardiff take on Derby next? Big game for both clubs, at this stage of the season you don't really want a draw against a rival, 3 points are a must as there is so much competition, it's so tight. It's a great standard of football. Have a look at the highlights of each week, the top 10 goals, there are some absolute crackers.

We are in strife though as Chopra is out for a few weeks so we will struggle to score

The yo-yo syndrom is brought about these days because clubs getting relegated from the EPL get a £10m sweetner, so they already start with an advantage. Added to this, the big city clubs, have the fan base so are already financial better off than the smaller clubs. This extra buying power means they have strength in depth, and at this time of the season, with injurues and suspensions, that depth of squad means the team is less affected by those injuries and suspensions.

The transfer window has just exaserbated the situation for the smaller clubs. It's all about money, I'm sorry to say.

Of course, "wrong teams" getting promoted just add to the magic of the CCC and give the rest of us hope. Watford did it last year, but I can't think of any other minnow in recent years.

That was the 72 championship side. The 75 side is my favourite.

Some big clubs go down and stay down. You've gotta get back in a year or two (like Birmingham appear to be doing) otherwise the cash dries up. Forest won't be back any time soon; Leeds look like they have a lot of work; Coventry's golden run at the top is fading into memory.
