I agree. The clubs at the top of the league are famous clubs, there's a rotating roster of them and they draw big crowds. It's almost always a close race, especially with the playoffs now (even if the wrong team occasionally goes up).

The yo-yo syndrom is brought about these days because clubs getting relegated from the EPL get a £10m sweetner, so they already start with an advantage. Added to this, the big city clubs, have the fan base so are already financial better off than the smaller clubs. This extra buying power means they have strength in depth, and at this time of the season, with injurues and suspensions, that depth of squad means the team is less affected by those injuries and suspensions.
The transfer window has just exaserbated the situation for the smaller clubs. It's all about money, I'm sorry to say.
Of course, "wrong teams" getting promoted just add to the magic of the CCC and give the rest of us hope. Watford did it last year, but I can't think of any other minnow in recent years.
