Fact. Ben is a premiership player and life member of the H Valley FC. He has coached juniors at HV, juniors and reserves at West Adelaide and more recently has coached Mt Lofty's A Grade for 4 years. The MVFC is extremely excited to have Ben on board for 2012.

Having been previously associated with Ben I can tell you he is a quality coach. Good appointment by Edwardstown I'm sure he will do well.

Layne is very well respected in the SFL and has a great record coaching junior and senior grades. He will also take an assistants role with the A grade. Not sure about a great record coaching in the SFL. Wasn't he the guy that lost the U18 Grand Final with Cove. They were top all year and lost. Most observers that day put it down to poor coaching. If he couldn't get a top side across the line, what is he going to do with a new developing side?
