Didn't see the game but heard Trevor Rigney kicked 10 goals. Probably couple big hangers to.

Hey DTH/KD I see that Brighton's Matt "Chazz" Whitford played his first game for 2011 in the McGoos. How did he go?

Good on him for getting back into it, Witto has missed the entire footy season after breaking his ankle in October 2010 whilst representing South Australia at the Australasian Gaelic Football Championships in Auckland. He managed to break his ankle in the last 2 seconds of SA's final minor round game, yet managed to win the Danny Doolan medal (equivalent of the Chazz Brownlow) for the carnival.

Went and watched Brighton play cove yesturday and yep Brighton are going to be a force come Sept. Cove tried hard all day but simply werent good enough. Rigney what a headache he is for any fullback. Cove i feel you need to give the bloke in white that stands on your side lines a little advice The first bit of advice would be to go to yeah yeah hair care and remove that ridiculous pony tail and the 2nd bit of advice would be keep quite and let the coach make the on field decisions. You have to much to say to opposition supporters for a medical trainer. Happy/Valley vs Brighton Friday night. This game should be a ripper. Thought Valleys were ok but still have a few to come back. Real test for the Vikings Fri night

CT, I did not get to the game but I talked to Matty a few weeks ago. He is not putting to much pressure on himself at the moment just happy to be out there to see how the ankle performs. He would be very handy to have back in the Bombers backline.. he seems to always get a fist to the ball.

Just had a really good look at the draw for the remaining clubs in the Top 8 of the A grade comp

With Valleys beating Flaggies last week they look set to stay in but may lose their next 2 against MV and BDOS and the final game of the minor round against Porties will be a huge match

Cove seem to be the team most vulnerable sitting 7th and having to face Townies (should win) and Noarlunga and Reynella. Flaggies are on the same points as them and they face OSB, Pt Noar & Marion.

MVP are sitting 9th and face Aldinga, CB and have a bye - they are 2 points behind Cove and Flaggies

Percentage has never been so important ....

This week sees the return leg of the Marion V Hackham battle. Can marion knock the hawks off and notch up a win for the yr? Or will the hawks finish off the yr on a bit of a high knocking off marion again?

Right amount of games for Whitto to play finals also so a handy inclusion to the a or b grade come finals time

In saying that, im just curious to see what players currently playing from other clubs are a serious chance of playing 300 senior games in the SFL? Or for the 1 club?

Michael BOOGER Shutz playing his 300th A grade game this week! Always plays at a high level and a inspiration to all that play with him. Good luck mate.

two different players P32 --- Booga Schutz wears No.24 and is usually on the wing.
Names are spelt slightly differently --- the ruckman is actually "Schulz".

Noticed some interesting ins for a couple of sides 4 weeks out from finals. L.Corrie for Morph Vale and D.Trevena for Pt Noarlunga...

Also as mentioned with players finals qualification, does anyone 100% know if the player has to "play" (physically set foot on the ground) for it to be counted, or as long as you are present and in uniform you can just sit on the bench or in the grandstand for that matter, as long as you are on the team sheet???
