He says he'll finish his career there but we all know Trev likes to tell people what they want to hear - cant see it in the next few years to be honest. Has so many great mates @ the Lions and still pops in the club on a saturday night often.

Taunting Trev will do nothing but fire him up MatteeG!

You are no stranger there MatteeG, Trev loves turning opposition backmen into 'poster shots' for mark of the year.... BTW the great man still lives in Sullies

It was a great effort to get the Premiership the club was after but they would have to be very disappointed with this season. I still believe they had a better side than Morphett Vale last weekend but whether it was the Monkey on the back or poor coaching from Earl I thought both contributed to the loss on Sunday. All season the team hasn't been anywhere near the standard that they were the previous season and they only lost 3 (4 if you include Bayliss) players from the previous year. But it seemed that whenever I would go out to watch he was playing players all over the park as he did last weekend. At halftime his half forwardline became the half back line and vice versa. He left probably one of the best players in the league in Bradshaw tagging Bayly who simply went to the forward pocket all game. At some point he needed to throw him on the ball or up forward. Ware was sitting on the half forward line for most of the game and hardly played on the ball.
But also once Morphett Vale kicked the first goal in the last it really did seem that the players dropped their heads and the game was over.
If you look at the scores for the Wineflies for the past couple of months they have been kicking more points than goals, you would have thought the coach would have tried to put a stop to that trend but it continued into finals.
It will be very interesting to see how they go next season with already talk on here about players leaving.
My tip is David Earl will either coach Morphett Vale next season or McLarens.

Petoe, absolutely loving your enthusiasm for the Rex Hunt. Im chasing after the Shoes B grade insipid showing against Reynella last week cost me. Lets try and get it back on the Brighton B grade/Emus 18's multi. Also have a small wager on Sth Adelaide running out of beer before the 3/4 time......again!

I Will have $10 on Liam Corrie for bog.

If any one wants to go fishing this weekend don't go to Brighton.
I have been fishing there all week.
Had a couple of good bites early in the week but nothing of late.

Haven't taken the bait all week Old Man. It's easy for you guys with 5 trophies in the cabinet over the last 7 years. I have just quietly gone about sh-tting big bricks all week and just hope I'm a happy man in 24 hours from now.

Lets hope its a great day and that the GF's are played in the spirit that the whole finals series has been played in across all grades. Touch wood but its been a fairly incident free finals on both sides of the fence. Good luck to all 7 clubs in action tomorrow and may the best teams win. And a special good luck to that spanner from the Emu 18's.

Been caught up with my day job all week and have relaxed with a beer and a casual read of the trash talk tonight on the forum. Must admit I am green with envy at the emus and the bombers and hope it is a cracker game tomorrow.

Most of the SFL would be saying anyone but Brighton surely? Sorry DTH

Thinking back to past Grand Finals the memories of 2003 are fading and its time the Valleys senior players stepped out of the juniors shadow. Whilst it is great to win junior flags it would be even better to celebrate a senior flag along with it and C grade just aint cutting it for me.

However good luck to Adam and his little Vikings in the 14s tomorrow - do us proud lads

Bad luck to those clubs who have fought hard all year and dont have a team on the park tomorrow.

Should be a great game today Brighton have been the top team all year and fully deserve to be favorites.
will be a club that topped up there squad with quality recruits vs club that rebuilt very quickly
with there own juniors.
Will be A team of champions vs a champion team.
I have to go now and fly the flag for the mighty emus.
We will be in the huddle out side the front gate bacon & eggs and 1979 premiership port for
breakfast.
Come and join us.

I'll have $50 on Riggles @ $13 to win the medal.

What's the odds of Trev kicking his 100th late in the game and a pitch invasion? Has his work cut out to ton up today but here's hoping he can pull off some of his magic.
