I hope they have done their homework on SFL rules.

Clifton been using his position at South u/18's to his advantage from what I hear, perhpas a strategic move to be involved out there on Martin's behalf ?

Hopefully they can improve by 20 goals this year and begin the long slow path back, the stronger the bottom teams become the better for the comp.

Clifton has been offering some U18's from South's Squad up to $200 per game to leave their current club and join Hackham next year to play A's. Maybe he should develop his OWN Juniors to play senior footy instead of trying to poach other clubs juniors.

Hackham obviously haven't heard of the 3 year rule with the clearance of juniors. Clubs are just not going to clear their juniors to Hacham.

Yep came to Cove last year from Latte land, cause he wanted to play with his mates, put the club to a lot of effort in obtaining a clearance. Now wants to go back to his (mates) who were more successful in 2011. Didn't have the decency to turn up for the medal count or contact the club.

Just an example of Gen Y I suppose dont want to work for want it on a plate.

Heard on the grapevine that Happy Valleys assistant coach of the Agrade has been given the A grade job at PT Noarlunga. Can anyone confirm this?

Will the SFL ever go back to two divs? Surely clubs and players are sick of a good game one week and a pasting the next. Doesn't have the makings of a strong competition. It'd be fair to say there's only ever 3 or 4 teams in with a sniff of the flag the other 11 or 12 just make up the numbers. As a player I'd be disappointed knowing about half the season would be a walk in the park, anyone with a competitive spirit wants a decent hitout week in week out.

Thats where its at, players will walk away, need to make changes with this sfl league not to hard to make a more competetive comp, 2 divs, or bite the bullet now and combine a few clubs before they die, scrap the shitty ovals, should have the best intrest of the players in mind, they are they ones playing every week and put in the hrs at training, no wonder brighton want to piss off to the saafl.
clubs should step up and put a stop to this shit! sorry to offend any clubs involved in merge but its a suggestion only and up for debate.
putting it out there to see what suggestions people can come up with. i beleive this would be a viable suggestion,

mvale
brighton
happy valley
reynella
flaggies
porties
Edwardstown
cove
noarlunga
christies
aldinga
Hackham/lonsdale (Hackham lions) Brown yellow maroon
marion/morphies (Marion roos)

Morpie parks needs the oval, marion need the numbers, no brainer, mvpfc steep history but the future could be bright

Lonsdale need the oval and facilities and hackam could use the extra numbers and revenue, lonnie oval is prime real estate,

crank another c grade side or two for excess players and move the **** forward

or have two leagues with minimal teams and most continue to struggle.

Lonsdale staying put. There is a new school opening there next year, I doubt they will build houses on the oval.
