Cheers, Leo. Appreciate the comment.

You are right, it doesn't happen as much as it used to - or should do.
We do try to get in and have a beer at the opposition club when we are away (where we feel welcome to !!). Well, at least the older blokes do .. gets harder and harder to get the younger guys to stick around, they obviously have much more important to things to do in their lives. I reckon they don't know what they are missing. The after match beers & socialising is the best part of C Grade !

Look forward to seeing you at our bar - I'll probably be serving you !!

Not sure if it's been covered or not, but's what's to go with Flaggies & BDOS only playing 13 games for the year & the others all playing 14! Have they had a catch up game or is there anything scheduled?

Big congrats to Brad "Woody" Carpenter who plays his 300th senior game for the emus this Sunday. Huge effort from a great club man.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

Well done woody, "300 milestone" a hard one to get, and at 1 club,... it says a lot about both.
still playing good footy.

He hasn't trained all week, and had a Barry Crocker in his last outing - is he chance to miss selection this week...??

Well, he managed to squeeze into the side and a great day was had by all. A good win, and the old man even snagged a few sausage rolls. Pretty sure he's glad they have the bye next week, because by all reports he might still be drunk next sunday! :partyman:

Saw that Aysh Simper was named in BDOS's side today to register he's 3rd game!

Just out of interest, what is the rule for qualifying? Do you need to take the field or at least be at the ground for it to qualify as a game played?

You need to take the field at some point in the match.

A club takes a big chance when they name someone who doesn't play.
Really have to hope that the opposition and their supporters don't know what he looks like :-s

Lets not do a Reynella of 2007 and drag Aysh's name through the mud again. Aysh has played in the games he has been credited as playing. Aysh's footy days are numbered due to chronic hamstring's and he is a week to week proposition.
