Any news on whether there are any Bombers who have moved away from the club in search for more game time at A grade level. There was talk of a group of B graders going to Plympton some time ago. Anything happened in that regard?

I thought Hunter had left and Norsworthy as well? And i'm assuming Twomey won't be back?

Was told that Mitch Portlock is considering a season with his old junior club in the SFL? Apparently will be a late starter to the season regardless but dont shoot the messenger.

Don't know if this is old news but I heard from a Hackham official the other day that the poor man's Tony Nobes, Dion Hibberd, will be a playing Assistant Coach at Hackham this year.

By my count, that is about his tenth change of club in the last twelve years or so. Don't know exact order but it would be something like - Morphie Park to Noarlunga to Lobethal to Plympton to Morphie Park to Noarlunga to Edwardstown to Lobethal to Edwardstown to Plympton to Hackham

A better question would be, how many other players would be in this boat but no one takes notice of???

I'm happy to throw it out there. Who else can we think of who have a fair record of consistently swapping clubs in and about the SFL over the years.

Tony Nobes is the first that comes to mind. I reckon he played for at least the following clubs along the way - Aldinga, Sullies, Mitchell Park, Happy Valley, Reynella, Mawson/Lonsdale, Hackham, Milang.

Forgot about Marion. Didn't realise he tried having a kick again last year. Looks like he's closer to Hibberd territory than I thought!

Fair to say that he has always had a bit of a gut but it has gone on to become a lot of a gut over the last year or two.

To be fair, he was a very good full forward in his day. But it is now definitely time to give the game away.
