My brother is at Smithfield, asked me to do some digging on a rumour he heard from one of their players. I live at Pt Willinga, hence seeing some Aldinga games.

Morphy Parks better hope Backwell doesn't play like the way he did at North this year.

Give the bloke a break. Will be great to have him in the SFL. I'm sure his footy smarts will be more than enough to get him through. I accept the info given that he contacted the Roos and is playing for the right reasons. I for one look forward to seeing him play.

Agreed. It might take him a couple games due to the difference in footy from sanfl to sfl but he is a quality player with the runs on the board.

I think a few ex SANFL midfielders have looked a bit average in the SFL, due to the lack of space at contests. I dont think the Pastie will be the best ground for him either, but come finals time there should be no excuses.

He was one of Norths best players against Norwood in Norwoods only loss for the year. When he actually got on the park he was fantastic for North most games.

I think someone has seen the name Jackson McMahon on the clearance list and put 1 and 1 together and got 3. Also interesting to note that Backwell's clearnace has gone from approved back to pending. Not sure what's happening there as it was definitely at approved status a few days ago.

I thought that was already written in every contract??!!
I wonder who is signing there now? Surely they aren't panicking after the loss last Friday?
What are the odds of the Eagleton boys all lining up this week?

Given that Valleys are playing Hackham, I'd say the odds would be extremely low.
No panic at Bomberland, a one point loss to a very worthy opponent wouldn't be sending shockwaves through....just yet.

ALDINGA vs REYNELLA- Reynella by 100+
CHRISTIES BEACH vs NOARLUNGA- Noarlunga by 100+
COVE vs BRIGHTON BOMBERS - Brighton buy 40 points
EDWARDSTOWN vs MORPHETT VALE- Edwardstown just
FLAGSTAFF HILL vs OSB/LONSDALE- Flagstaff by 150+
HAPPY VALLEY vs HACKHAM- Valley by 150+
MARION vs PORT NOARLUNGA - Porties by 150+

Sadly for the SFL, only one game that should really be a contest. Have to give Townies and Porter some credit, when they lose it's tight and they're managing to beat some quality opposition too. Won't win a premiership, but will certainly make finals and give a strong contest. This weekend provides the perfect argument for two divisions.

Heard whispers, but wouldn't he still require a clearance? As of 15 minutes ago, no clearance has been lodged with the SFL. Only got today to get it through.
