U would agree afc9798 great to see a star returning to their home club ! Going to be exciting watch all these great player fire up come finals. :ANAL:

Well if it all works out it will be fantastic to have McMahon, N.Eagleton and his brothers, Cranston and Backwell all going at it in the finals. McMahon adds some extra pace, although it's the inside work that worries me at the moment. If we get a good track to play on, Bombers pace is going to kill off a lot of sides early.

Tomorrow is the cut off date for clearances so his clearance would need to be fixed asap

Apparently if its pending before the cut off date then it can be approved after the finalisation date.
Have yet to see a clearance for Jordan McMahon yet? Bombers cutting it fine.

All this drama about getting these SANFL blokes cleared by 30 June is wrong. Eagleton was already a Happy Valley player and Backwell and McMahon have never been registered with a league in SA other than SANFL so they all only needed to be registered or in Eagleton's case re-registered. Then their SANFL club provide a Type 2 Permit (because all 3 were contracted for 2012) not a Clearance to have them play for their respective SFL clubs this season. SFL rules state that all registrations not requiring a clearance will be accepted up to there being enough games left in the season for that player to qualify for finals, which is 4 games in SFL seniors. So that is several weeks away. I think that is why Backwell's original application was denied because I assume Morphys may have lodged a Clearance as opposed to a Permit request.

Another point. Good to see all our leagues farmers, jackeroos and miners off playing in the Country Champs this weekend when they should be playing for their clubs. What a joke. If you've never driven a tractor you shouldn't be expected to play Country Champs.

How does Rigney not make the Zone side? Surely Brighton should be up in arms that a player of this calibre has been over looked>

How does button and Ramsey not make the team button played more sanfl then Rigney , cove must be devastated and beside themselves that they didn't get picked ! As president I would be lodging a complaint vics01 ! Disgracefull . In all seriousness though there should be a bye this week ! DTH I agree southern footy is not country footy and should not be involved in the country championships don't know many country towns like Brighton with tanning salons and quality latte which is world renown !

Playing unregistered, playing with steel studs, drugging your opposition is cheating.
If you follow the rules or apply for an exception and it is approved, no dalai lamas
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Ramsey was awfull in the association game and rigney had no impact. He did get a bit of it though when thrown on the ball in the last 1/4. Would have thought he would've been in the team though as he can play.

Second time I've watched the Cobras this year and they've been impressive both times
Maybe I just keep striking them when they're "on" but Cove are looking a real danger from what I've seen. Laid down the gauntlet to the Bombers in the second term and proved good enough to see it through to the end.

Interesting results today with unexpected wins the Christies, Edwardstown and Cove

Also interesting to see Damian Eagleton having to come through the B grade

I think you will find Edwardstown didn't have an unexpected win today Mister Footy, Morphett Vale won by almost 10 goals.
