was fully expecting emus to beat townies but you would be happy with that scoreline

Didn't get a chance to see any games over the weekend. A few upsets. Cove over the bombers and Christies over noarlunga. I guess the sfl isn't as bad as everyone thinks. That's 2 sides out the top 8 knocking over 2 sides in the top 3. Pretty impressive.

Went down for a look at Edwardstown v Morphett Vale Saturday, saw the last 1/4 of the B Grade and Edwardstown looked much better than a tired slow looking MVale, thought it may have been a sign for the A Grade game - obviously not! Morphett Vale came hard out of the blocks and led all day and Townies were playing catch up football. Emus have a great spread of players and their big ruckman Bode is such a good player..

Was a competitive game and was played in good spirit, really enjoyed it

I heard a few of the Brighton boys were injured on the weekend including the great Man himself Rigney, did this have any impact on the final result?

Rigney injured about ten minutes from final siren time. Bombers six points down at the time.
Cove's win was set up by a magnificent second quarter. Cobras also without Josh Vick, so I'd say the answer to your question is "no".

Just having a look through all the results and noticed in the C Grade Noarlunga failed to get a side on the park? Just a bad week for them or have they pulled the pin?

Pulled the pin. Must have lost a few at the shoes this year. This time last year, their 2's were looking like a chance for the flag and their c's were more than competetive. Their A's going well but depth definately not what it was.

Hear hear, these are the blokes that make local footy what it is. Without the countless hours and tireless efforts of these sort of people, footy just doesn't survive. RIP Billy, enjoy the perfect green deck upstairs. :)
