Mate bad incompetent lazy dumb stupid and abusive coaches can still make finals - probably every SFL club has a team that made finals despite their coach

well mate I wasn't there on Saturday, I only know what the boys told me. I can tell you without a doubt though that he was never sacked from Porties! Gossip is a wonderful thing, my wife says you're all worse than women!

Apprentice it concerns me that you believe he was sacked for 'over stepping the mark' not because he 'wasn't a good coach.' A good coach, even an average coach does NOT over step the mark with kids, for they are just that, kids. I agree with MF even an average coach can make finals, i have even been apart of teams like that, so regardless of if he was sacked from Porties, the fact of the matter is was sacked from the shoes for his behaviour, which i take my hat off to them for doing so. Always remember it is just a game and abusive behaviour shouldn't be tolerated.

Sounds like there maybe some disgruntled clubs amongst the HFL in both divisions, perhaps it's time some of our clubs contact these clubs and ask them if they'd be interested in a move to the SFL as I understand the league itself aren't allowed to contact them. I'd start with Kangarilla and Meadows from Country Div and Blackwood, Mt Lofty and Ironbank from Central Div.
Just a thought, if we are serious about 2 Divs then we have to start somewhere.

'Attitude reflect leadership Captain.' Looking at the results maybe the A grade coach should just concentrate on his own back yard and let the rest take care of itself. He lives and dies by the A grade results. Good luck Mitts focus on the controllables.

Roos to lead all day and use their talls effectively, but Porties to run over them in the last quarter. I personally think MVP play too tall and therefore lack the running power of a Porties, Brighton, Valley side over a whole game. They have had a great year and deserve to be in a prelim, but picking Porties this week.

Noarlunga in the other match with a resilient Cove to come very close, but no cigar....

Roo's vs Porties will be a great game I'm Tipping the Roo's just 11 points. Shoes vs Cove IMO will be a blow out I'm tipping the cobras to thump the tired shoes who will be carrying some injuries into the game. Fresh leg cove boys by 7 goals.

You should probably read what is going on on the Hills Central Div forum. If there was any a time to approach Hills clubs about coming to the SFL so to create 2 divisions, the time is now. Those Club Presidents wanting 2 divs, better get on the dog and bone.
