Well done to the Valley, best side all year and deserved winners, wonder if the initial Dent knockers will have much to say? Sucks to be one of the couple higher profile Valley boys who have left the club over the last year or 2. Goes to show that sticking by your home club can pay dividends, wonder if either would swap monies earned for the premiership medallion and one in particular possibly a premiership as Captain? Great to see the latte slurpers go down.

They also lost a number of younger "lower profile" players this season too
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Has done a great job this year and was reappointed a few weeks back. Great game yesterday and guys like McKenzie, Brown, J.Eagleton were very composed from the first bounce. Joel Brown and Nathan Petersen-Gray would have to be the best two recruits to the SFL in some time. Fantastic day for the Eagleton family with the 4 brothers playing in a premiership together. Amazingly, I think this Nathan Eagletons first ever premiership.

Well done Valley, just way too good for Brighton when it counted.

Hey Mattee G and Vics01. Care to comment on the disgraceful scenes during and after the Under 18 game. Not unexpected from 1 of the clubs who have some real problem children in their juniors. Looking forward to some of those lads playing seniors next year and seing how tough they really are. But surprised to see the "family club" being no better when the fight started. Marred what was otherwise an incident free day.

To be brutally honest DTH I was just walking in the ground as the 18s ended so cant comment.

Did hear there was some pretty cheap stuff during the game which came to a head as the final siren went?

Maybe someone else can elaborate?

Bit of a slog the B grade game. You guys don't like #19 do you. I hope you don't just judge him on his appearance and the tatts etc. because I'm not aware of any dramas involving him yesterday other than your #5 being a bit nervous whenever he got near him.

I know there is alot of negativity about the standard of the SFL as a whole but that was a seriously good game yesterday. In the end, Valleys were just too good. Mckenzie, Huebner & Beags down back gave the Bomber forwards nothing. J.Eagleton kicked a couple of cracking goals. Gray, Brown, Maher were all good. Brighton could never get any real run on or control of the game but never threw in the towel.

Seemed like tough conditions with the wind yesterday.
A grade was played in great spirit.
The eagleton lads were just too classy - amazing how much space and time they seem to find.
And happy valley were a lot better in the air clunking more marks.
Good season again by Brighton - been strong now for 10+ years which is a credit to the club.
Looking forward to 2013!!!
Go Marion :)

From what I hear DTH nothing like the blood letting at Brighton after yesterdays result. The Brighton Mafia are not happy with selection decisions????

Pretty unfair comment Dutchy, when you consider that they played for considerably less than they would have got if they took offers from GSFL and others. Both are consumate clubmen who have been welcomed into the fold. Both quality individuals who were the icing on the cake for Valleys this year. How much was Shearer paid?

Bombers definitely rolled the dice with selections yesterday. Not sure the options that were available would have made the difference though.

Both are confirmed as staying. Also hear a few former players are knocking on the door to go back.

The word on the street is that Sam is about to get the sack. If so, I think it says more about the club than the coach. There seems to be some people that have far too much say at Bomber land.

Win a flag and get to a GF and get the sack, what a joke.
