Also does anyone know the status of Dan May from valleys? Is he able to play this year? Had a bad broken leg start of last year. When on form is in valleys best 3 players.

May is not playing for Valleys this year. I think he may have headed back to KI to play. His injury also did not heal that well after breaking it in the first round against Flaggies and he's had ongoing issues with it. Hope he does play again, was an absolute gun.

AFC for someone who states their club is Brighton you sure know alot about Happy Valley. Have you seen the light?

I have a foot in both camps so to speak. I have almost seen the light you could say. Brighton is the old allegiance, HVFC is the new due to my juniors playing there. Have taken an interest in Valley at a higher level after enjoying watching the senior games last year and the year before.

Noticed in todays pre season write up by the Messenger, Morphy Pk , Edwardstown and Brighton were not mentioned .
Morphy Pk and Townies I dont know about , but I reckon Brighton was ommited because the list of outs would have taken up qtr of a page ,also heard that Sam is still waving the chequebook at some remaining players before the Mallee Leagues season begins

Noticed in todays Messenger article re the in and outs for each team that Brighton was ommited ,could this be because there was not enough space on the page for the ommissions/outs   also hearing (whispers) that Sam is still lurking near Brighton Rd chequebook in hand 8)

Probably because those clubs are not part of the Southern Times' distribution area

Yeah realised that after posting ,odd that those clubs along with Marion were left out considering the article was an overview of the SFL

Bring back Shoe Boy. Has a lot more sensible things to say than you Old Man Munga. For a club that has a record against the Bombers as bad as yours I'm surprised you have so much opinion to offer about us.

Gee whiz, sounds like you touched a nerve there Old Man Munga. Didnt think you actually had said too many ill informed statements about Brighton, but DTH thinks you have. Must be a little truth in all that you have remarked.

Any club that treats a premiership coach the way Brighton did, deserves critisisim from all of us I reckon.

I think Brighton and Sam have both moved on Munga. Brighton may have some short term pain but it won't be long before they're top 4 again. Sam is doing what he does best. Recruits quality blokes to help win premierships. At the end of the day, that's what we play for or are involved in a footy club to achieve. If that means waiving a cheque book, so be it. Show me a SFL, GSFL, HFL top 4 side that isn't. Welcome to todays footy environment.

Sorry, poor cut and paste skills!! Morphy Park by 16 points, although did see Emus training a few weeks back and looked very quick and polished, so Emus to get up wouldn't be a surprise.

Brighton to play Willunga in a trial. Interesting to see how they go against a very good outfit in Willunga.

Hackham by 45 points - Sharkies will struggle (again). Hawks on the rise. Kids all have a full year of experience under their belts
Valleys by 30 points - not sure why I'm picking a relatively low margin
Reynella by 30 points - Cove oval generally not a happy hunting ground for the Flies in years gone by
Porties by 40 points - again, not sure why
OSB by 60 points - noises from Marion not good, junior teams folding all over the place and limited quality in seniors. Not much coming out of Lions' camp
Shoes by 1 point - I don't like the Shoes. Never have. Arrogant dicks. I still think they'll win
Roos by 3 goals - Not sure where Emus are at this year but I expect Roos to have improved slightly on last year
