Nah, the GF is done and dusted, the thing we are struggling with most now is working out what most of your posts are about NM.

Given South's U19 results this year & having watched them, Porter can bring along the whole team if he wants ... its not going to make a huge difference to Valley's A grade team in 2009

Looking back at the past U/17 and U/19 results int 2006 and 2007, Porter did no worse than previous coaches.

What is up with that anyway? The South is over flowing with kids, Reynella, M/vale, Cove, and Valley's are all fielding two teams with hundreds of new houses down at Aldinga each year. Any "serious" opinions as to why?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Same reason the league don't go well. The board stuff it up.

Players goto South with the hopes of improving their football only to be mucked around seeing the club bring in and promote players who may have more potential, but aren't prepared to work as hard, ahead of the guys that are busting their gut weak in weak out.

Been happening for years and is the main reason a lot of the good juniors end up back at their local clubs.

take m/vale out of the equation.there would have been less than 5 players from m/vale in souths 17s and 19s season just gone, thats why they are no good they need more emus out there.

Are they the five worst players who ride the pine (for the majority of the time) or the five best who are the leaders of a losing side!

Isn't Cove in Glenelgs zone, and part of Happy Valley and all of Aberfoyle Park in Wests zone? I remember my days at South and three quarters of the squad was M/Vale and Reynella, the side made a Grand Final, then most left at the same time for the same reason, since then their juniors have been bottom for some years. There is no atmosphere at South, you don't feel like it is your club and it was and by the looks of it is still managed poorly.

I have heard that a former reynella coach could be the valley's next coach. He hasn't coached in the sfl for a number of years, and I also heard he was looked at by reynella and christies aswell.
