I also believe the talk about the influx of players back to M/V may not be correct and I her that Sherwood has signed with Langhorne creek can anyone confirm?

I was unaware of an INFLUX as you call it, care to elaborate..?? however we do have a few past premiership players returning to the Emu's for next year...

Ok Mex we wont call it an influx we will call it past players returning. All I was saying that there may not be these players returning from what I had heard. If they are well done. Can you name them for us?

Have heard that Randall Lindsay may now be staying at Myponga and not heading back to Brighton

From what I hear Marion may well keep Ben Stokes as no other club wants to pay the dollars he's asking. But on the down side, Wes Bilney is ready to sign with the Northern Bullants in Victoria, he will be a big loss for them.
Also heard that Pollard is still a chance to sign with Myponga, was a little upset about a lack of contact from MV and decided to speak with Myponga who he had originally told he wasn't interested.

Some of your wettest mail to date Panther..!! Polly has notified both clubs (Emu's/Mudlarks) that he will be playing with the Emu's this season (and beyond i'm sure)... Could've even been spied doing some solo shuttle runs in the seaford area last night in preparation for another ton..!!

Wettest mail? Came from a MV player! But you are right, I have since checked with the Myponga coach and he has said that he is staying at MV. The talk must have worked! ;)

Never even considered the "Pollard to Myponga" suggestion would ever be correct.
Last year it was all about McKeough "signed, sealed and delivered" to Robe, and it never was a possibility. This time the rumour boys decided to lay off Milo and have a crack at Polly.
It's called the Silly Season.

Pollard did have a meeting at Myponga and they had a decent crack at him. If he was serious about leaving only he would know...
Also Milo did think about going to Robe with Cobb, Deboo & Bryant etc.. As he has also had a meeting with Blackwood (Cobb) i believe.

Definitely wasn't a rumour. Originally told Myponga he wasn't interested and then changed his mind after the people at Morphett Vale didn't contact him, so he called them back up and sat down to a meeting with them. Was obviously pretty close for some of the boys to go around to his house and talk him out of it. Who knows how close though really, maybe just felt like he deserved more respect from the heirechy at MV, maybe the Mex can fill us in with more?

Gee you know everything about the deal Panther, just a little off the mark, Polly met with Myponga, decided to stay, that is basically the crux of it, there was definately no going backwards and forwards, i am reliably informed that a couple mates went over for a beer at some stage, nothing untoward about that i wouldn't have thought..??

For the uneducated -

crux - (krŭks, krŏŏks)

The basic, central, or critical point or feature: the crux of the matter; the crux of an argument.
