By my count, that is about his tenth change of club in the last twelve years or so. Don't know exact order but it would be something like - Morphie Park to Noarlunga to Lobethal to Plympton to Morphie Park to Noarlunga to Edwardstown to Lobethal to Edwardstown to Plympton to Hackham

Hibberda only played 1 year up at lobey. So it's more like Mp to noarlunga to plympton to noarlunga to mp to plympton to noarlunga to lobethal to edwardstown to plympton to hackham

The official I spoke to said they had recruited about five 1 point players at this stage and were waiting on an answer from the SFL as to extra points before they could chase any more. To be honest, they will still be bottom two but hopefully the 40 goal beatings can drop to 20 goals and the 20 goal beatings to 10 or so

Kaniva minimum game price is 450 if you take a sign on, much more if you dont and even more if you can kick a drop punt!

Kaniva had picked up a few south reserves players and 450 is nowhere near. Plus includes a rental car to drive up.

all good mates, keen to travel, make some money and have a kick for a great club thats all it really comes down to.
I think you will find that baxter played league footy. so you would think he could kick a drop punt no probs.

Not the worst stats playing in a struggling team,

haha well majority of it would be money but ther are other reasons as well im sure.
its hard to travel all the way down there on your own, so if you have a group of mates u can jump in with why wouldnt you!?

obviously if they guy cant kick a drop punt your club wouldnt be looking after $$$ him would they?

You obviously missed the  after that comment

Billy was our club captain and a great player of course we wanted to keep him. He was our highest paid player but still only recieving 1/6th of Kaniva's offer.

ah well i prob did, at least you guys were looking after him a bit, even if it was a smaller amount. There are plenty of clubs that refuse to look after their local talent even a little bit financiallly and in this day and age blokes jump at the sign of $$$ for various reasons. Clubs like Kaniva have to pay big dollars to get guys down to play otherwise they would hardly get a team together at all. Im sure it would have been hard for him being captain to pull the pin on the group though.
