Reynella knocked off the Roos twice this season already, once by 34 points on their deck and then by 17 in a wet tussle at Reynella. But that game the score was 6.10 to 4.5, so if the Flies kicked straight it should have been more.
The Reynella backline has been awesome this year and the team has great flexibility around the ground with the ability to move blokes where needed.
I think the biggest challenge is going to be for Big Luke Ciampa to compete with Cranston all day.
Here's hoping the finals experience the Wineflies have will shine through tomorrow in what looks like a great day for football!
Flies by 3 goals for me.

Reckon that was your biggest strength this year flyer- even team efforts most weeks.

Even though the bright sun and warm weather kept people away from the outer side, the crowd on the Western side was huge and no way a Port Noarlunga or any other ground would have been able to cater for it particularly with the lack of any fluent car parking system that any of our grounds have during the finals. Most minor finals I attended the in-ground car parking was its usual dogs breakfast, not to mention getting in and out of most of the venues if you weren't staying for the A grade.
More importantly for the early games on Saturday, where players and family members don't want to stay all day, getting in and out of Hickinbotham is so much easier. I know one proud mother and grandmother making their first trip to an SFL GF and only there for the Under 16 GF who thought the whole set up was terrific and much more spectator friendly than some of the club grounds in the minor finals. They were able to sit in the stand (if thats what you call it) with other players parents and family and enjoy a good view of the game and even stay dry when a bit of rain fell during the Under 16 game.
Grand Final day should not be seen as a grog fest for a minority of bogans who sneak the esky in the car or get liquored up before arrival and end up brawling with opposition supporters or even themselves like what we saw regularly pre-Hickinbotham. Plus its nice to have a scoreboard that you can clearly read and excellent change and shower facilities for all the competing players who deserve that extra bit of luxury for making a GF.
I note Old Man Emu saying he and some of the MV crew were headed to Willunga for a real country GF yet I'm sure the GSFL aren't too happy that one of the major highlights of the ABC radio coverage was a big spectator brawl during the A grade game. Maybe it was the MV boys trying to re-live some of the "good old days", but surely we are beyond that now.

At the end of the day you want your GF players having the best facilities (Ground/changerooms)- us supporters will watch them anywhere.
P32 is right though- I NEVER understand why places are light on catering for drinks- surely you can always keep and re-sell canned drinks if they are not all used on the day? Would be much better to over-cater drinks IMO.

Who ran them? SAFC or SFL?

Have to agree completely, I thought that other than a few very minor things, it was great. The only thing I'd change is where they do the presentations. The backend of a changeroom is not the greatest place to celebrate a premiership, although I doubt the lads really cared that much. It was a good day, well behaved crowd and some great footy played.
