So i know there are some big games this week but Association is just around the corner. Can anyone answer these questions.

Has the squad been announced?

When does training start?

Who is on the coaching/selection panel?

Will the SFL be more competitive?

I like how the list is never published so that questions are not asked why x was not invited, or why y made himself unavailable...

Thanks ShoeBoy.

Yeah is interesting that squad hasnt been released. You would imagine with 80invites not many were missed. Someone on here earlier mentioned they were picking guys in form so would be interesting to see if they have.

A morphy parks player coped a knock off the ball causing an ambulance delay. Luckily the scores were tied. Losing due to something like that would be a disgrace.

Potentially a good round of games this weekend [-o<

Non-grumpy tips for Round 9:

10 v 11: Aldinga over Cove @ Dingy - could be close
9 v 6: Beach over Valley @ Bice - could be close
1 v 2: Flagstaff over Brighton @ Flaggies - could be close
13 v 8: Porties over Hackham @ Hackham - meh
12 v 14: Marion over Lions @ Marion - could be close, first points for the year for the winner!
5 v 7: Shoes over MParks @ Shoe - could be close
3 v 4: Reynella over Morphies @ Morphies - should be a cracker on Sunday.

By all reports GSFL will be at full strength. Mitch Portlock named as coach. Could be another long day for the mighty Barbarians.

Brighton way too good today, score board flattered Flaggies in the end.

Looks like a great come from behind win by OSB/Lonsdale today.

Emus are improving with a really good win over Reynella yesterday As and Bs, Wineys appeared to have a lot out, McEntee one of them so not getting real excited yet but looking forward to Brighton after the break, a few regular A Graders to come back in yet including Bode who had another run in the Bs.

Yes the post above from a Flaggies person about a 3 horse race between Reynella flaggies and Brighton is a little premature,Flaggies had 2 x beltings in 2015 finals last year when they were the best performing side throughout the year. If I was Shoes Reynella or Brighton I would be pretty confident playing the bushpigs in September.......

Brighton travelling the best from what I've seen at the moment and I think Shoes and M/Vale will be round the mark come Sept 2016.

Not sure of side to be named but they looked good on the track last night.

I can confirm that 8 Shoe lads made the junior 15 side .

If you look at the fixtures on the Sportingpulse page for the Association page, the SFL has now named a side. Unsure if that will be who will line up on the day, but at least you now have something to discuss!

Did Purvis from Aldinga try out? One of the best players I've seen run round this year.
Thought Vanders would of got in Dutchy as under age?
