You are kidding your self, you blokes squealed last time and had a game moved!!! The A grade finish top the B grade undefeated the 17 second move on .

Sound a bit on edge SB? :)

Not saying it should happen, just asking the question if it will.

Porties also in line for a home final if they win this weekend.

Personally I love watching games at the Shoe, great spot.

Yep Porties play at home this week and if good enough to go through to Prelim they play home again , I personally don't have a problem with that and I may be biased but the atmosphere at the Shoe is terrific as it was on Saturday .

Gee! why don't we just scrap the finals series and hand over the premierships now to the shoes..........

Couple of big retirements at Happy Valley last week

Alvino, Ferguson who have been tremendous players for the club and Lawry who has been a great leader. =D> =D> =D>

Eagleton didnt retire and I hear he will decide what he will do once new coach has been announced. Reckon he will be after some $$$ before he hangs up the boots.

What's the rules on marquee players?

Johnny has been a good player for Valley but has slowed over the past two seasons - would he really still command many $$$?

Understand things may not have turned out as expected over the past few years but was Lawry really worth the investment?

Played some junior footy with Fergy and Alvino, both good blokes and have given a lot to their club.

No delivery on their investment from Lawry, you'd have to say it wasn't worth it from a winning perspective. Who knows how much he gave back to the club in terms of culture, showing juniors the way to play etc. Can you put a price on that?

How many blokes in the history of footy have kicked 29 goals in 15 games in the one season, which included bags of 13 and 12.

Only kicked 1 or more goals in 5 of those 15 games

26 of his 29 goals were kicked against the bottom two teams (89.7%)

Only kicked goals against finalist teams on two occasions, for a total of 3 goals.

To be fair he generally played down back, but if the rumors of 4 figure$ in 2016 and 1/2 a K in 2017 are correct for returns of 10th and an 8th finish with no finals , you would be looking pretty hard at the bloke in charge of the footy dept asking WHY??

Reckon there are several people that are being looked at pretty hard including a member of the executive who spat the dummy at the coach when his son was dropped from the A grade. ](*,)

Bit like the u15 SFL leading goal kicker, 39 of his 60 goals against bottom 2 teams who they played 6 times in an 18 game season.

Kid who came 2nd actually played for Lonsdale to help their numbers in his one game we had against them.

The junior draw this year has been a farce with issues like your comments including the 13 draw where we played the top side 3 times and the bottom once with a side above playing the bottom 4 times and top once but I guess the lads will develop more from playing quality than belting sides .

Yep, a team is playing finals in the 13's this weekend with a 3-15 record!

That being said it can't be easy doing the junior draw with clubs not entering sides, hopefully this will be one of the positives of a 9 team comp next year, full day of 5 games across all grades from all clubs.
