In some of the worst conditions I have seen,Simon Dean had another day out. Clearly the best player on the ground and I am sure another 3 medal points. :D

That would make him a pretty young winner. If he won a Mail Medal already he'd have a huge start to beating his Dad's record of two Mail Medals and one Div Two Medal. \:D/
Maybe not yet, but a real chance of bagging one further down the track if he keeps going the path he is travelling.
Always great to watch this kid. He reminds me of Bernie !

Doesn't have to. Already he is earning piles of respect as indicated on this page.
I asked Bernie Veide one day how it is actually pronounced, and it is indeed "Vader" as in Darth.

Ben Moore will win by an absolute country mile, a class above the rest. But as far as roughies go, keep an eye on the seasoned veteran that is Darren Mason. He has polled well in previous years and knows how to grab the umpires attention with his relentless attack on the ball and knows how to kick between the big sticks.

Moore and Vick the best two chances in my book with Moore the more likely. But only three chances ???? Think you'll find guys like Johnstone (massive game again last week), Dean and Bilney, are all possibilities. I especially wouldn't write off the Bomber. Cotsaris from Aldinga should poll votes, but Sharks' may not have won enough to get him sufficient first-votes.

Toddy Johnstone came 2nd or 3rd last year and must come very close again. Not only wins hard ball but also carries, bounces, and generally makes blokes look stupid when they try and tackle him.

Moore has no doubt had a good year and his name will help but even in SFL he's still very much in and under with a quick kick or handpass and not a huge ball carrier in the games I've seen. Problem for Bayly is that MV always share the votes around and his brother has also been very good this year so may steal some votes.

Wes Bilney has to be a chance. Proven vote getter in Port Lincoln and hardly been out of the Marion best players all year. Recent years suggest that lower clubs can still have some decent vote getters.

I think they are some pretty good points there DTH, Todd Johnstone is still my favourite going in with no biased intended but alot of people will be surprised at how many votes young Cotsaris will get, Safely tip him in the top 3 and My smokey remains with Simon Dean has also had a great year. I do rate Nath Bayley but just not sure top 4 for him I'd say. You could have my Trifecta in their I reckon

Yeah same as you retiree. I think toddy will win especially because of the fact that while Brighton have been winning for a while now, toddy has been kicking goals. I know there have been some games where he has kicked 5 or 6 playing from the middle. So he's racking up touches around the ground and kicking small bags from the midfield!
