Guess its not looking to good down at the rams in 09 then,Got told Ex told all of last years playing list that they are all on base rates.Dont know if they lost many players because of it or not,but by the sounds of it they are lacking numbers.Maybe they needed to save money so he could bring his mates from ironbank along.Guess they didnt come cheap.

1. It is harder for losing sides to attract quality recruits unless they pay more
2. When recruits are overpaid and they don't deliver at least a finals berth, can they really expect to receive the same money the next year.

Poor to average clubs can get stuck in a cycle of overpaying average players year after year for fear of a) regressing or b) making that elusive finals berth. Although not as common in amateurs do to the relegation / promotion system, you often see this in country footy as well as the SFL.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Great to see footy back at the Shoe Sat.
Called in between juniour and seniour cricket commitments and a good crowd to see a trial of 6 quaters with our young lads having a run for the first 3 and seniour group the last. Coaching panel happy with the trial considering 12 will walk into the seniour starting side that did not play.

This Friday night at the Shoe against Nairne again 6 quaters with the game starting at 6.30 I believe?
