BREAKING NEWS: The complaint has been chucked out!!!!!!

The SFL has looked at the complaint and dismissed the lot.

All Reynella (the bus drivers) had was a 2004 team sheet from another club outside the league with the players name on it.

As I said earlier. nothing changed. MVFC vs BDOS. and the player is cleared to play.

Sorry Fly. Your season is officially over!
As far as i was concerned it was over Sunday 5pm

As much as you guys want it to be true (and rub it in Flys face) that Reynella was the so called driving force in this situation. I'm sorry to dissapoint - They were not. Another club dropped these allegations. lay of the easy target in this situation, until you get your facts right.

at the end of the day the two most worthy teams will battle it out - end of story.

AFL, was it Happy Valley pulling out the Joker card?...they may have had this in reserve from the 18's debarcle and though it was a good time to use it as some revenge?

Happy Valley certainly wouldn't want Reynella making a GF on default. RFC was the definate driving force, only just spoke to someone from the SFL in the last 10 mins stating committee members from RFC were pushing the matter. SFL members not happy.

I don't think so.... The SFL is only obliged to investiagte allegations that have been raised / laid but it's member clubs. Reynella would have had to formally request the SFL investigate this issue. They may not have started it but they certainly jumped on the bus when the opportunity arose.

Im getting the same mail as rock and spike.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

Maybe an outsider can answer this but does any other league rival the SFL for this sort of trivial sh*t? Going back about 3 years to when Valleys Forfeited round 1 against brighton and were docked 5 wins or something. Fights on the ground that interrupted GF's at Porties, The u/18's last year and the SFL medal shambles, and now this.

Just seems that sometimes the most dull times are on the field.....altho it does get us thru the working week i suppose.

Agreed it was instigated from an outside club but when given the baton Reynella ran very hard with it.

This was not instigated by an outside club it was pursued after an off the cuff remark to an SFL club official. There was enough to look in to it but it looks like a change in system by the other league has seen the original registration of the player lost. So nothing will come of it good luck to Brighton hope it goes well.

Tell the bus driver that your club is not good enough never has been an quite obviously never will be and let sleeping dogs lie... All this from a club that sits Butcher on the pine in a desperate effort to qualify the league's gun recruit for a crack at a flag..

One minute you and your mate Fly are denying any invlovement then next your boasting an injunction is going to prevent this weeks GF from going ahead... Your club is an absoulte disgrace...

Lets say an injunction does prevent the GF from going ahead, i'd like to think that the majority of people on this forum would like to come down to Noarlunga oval on saturday afternoon and watch the first ever "exhibition" match between two of the competitions leading teams, I believe Morphett Vale and Brighton are the teams to be chosen, it promises to be an exciting display of football for all to enjoy... Hope to see you there...

There will be no injuction put on the grand final. Just spoke to a reliable source who stated the meeting is to the discuss the matter so it doesn't happen again and to put provisions in place to prevent anything similar. I can't believe the RFC... was Butcher promised a GF as part of the deal, is this why the RFC are in panic mode.

I think the real issue here is what are Reynella / SFL going to do to compensate those who have taken a couple of days off next week for after GF party's and Mad Mondays.

I am pretty keen to start some sort of riot if the unthinkable were to happen and the GF gets moved.
