I would be pretty disappointed if a Lonsdale player won the medal over players like Vick, Johnstone, Mckenzie, Bayly Brothers.

My money is on Vick.
Bayly boys will steal votes off each other and one wears 3 the other 13!!
Thats a pretty stupid comment to make im sure any of the top 10 teams have players good enough to win the medal. Lonsdales best player is as good as any other we just dont have as many as the top teams. Rusty Curyer should poll very well gets plenty of possies every week and plays well no matter the opposition.

Morphies very good even team who will pull votes off each other so i reckon the winner will more than likely come from cove, reynella, brighton or valley who seem to have more big name players but dont discount a player from porties marion lonsdale or christies winning it. They have all won more than their fair share of games.

I'll go for a top 5 in no particular order of:
Johnstone - Brighton
Bachmann - Christies
Curyer - OSB/Lons
Prescott - Reynella
Reavill - Cove
would have gone manhood from porties but he was suspended
is manhood done yet i heard 2 yellows gets u week, but 2 reds sends u to the board then u might get off though is that true

i'd put my money on Nath Bayly. Has kicked bags, and when moves onto the ball, gets plenty of it. Also, when Polly was injured for 3 weeks, Nath stepped up and kicked bags of something like 5, 6 and 7. could be wrong tho?

Also keeping in mind he's only 20 or 21yo.

I know he is a proven performer but Vick wouldn't have made Lonsdales top 10 players on Saturday he had about 5 touches when tagged by a b grader, kicked a goal when that bloke had a rest. Were you disappointed last year when Bachmann won it, his team doesn't even play finals. I didn't know it was a medal for the top 4 teams only.
I dont think that 'B' grader would like that! Get him sweeny!

My tip is Scott McKenzie just in front of Steve Prescott. I haven't seen enough of Josh Vick this year to gauge his chances but he should go alright given everyone else's opinion. Johnstone should poll well he's a good player.

Id say vick too. good footballer, flashy player, kicks goals from midfield. and after the debacle last year fresh in all of the umpires minds.

Looks like the majority are going with whoever plays at their club....which is fair enough seeing as tho thats who you watch week in week out. From who ive seen play against my club i would have to go with either Mckenzie from Happy Valley, Brown from Porties or Vick.

I'll stick with Mckenzie.

Played with Vickie in the early days at Goolwa, where he always polled well. Goes forward and kicks goals which sticks in the minds of umpires.!

Did a bloke named Bachmann win it last year? What was the debacle surrounding that?
