Well done to BDOS.

Too much run in the last half for Reynella. If Winies worked on their fitness they would have gone further with the tallent they have. At times the Bombers at 3-4 playes at each contest to Reynella's 2.

It should be interesting this week with Porties looking to upset Cove again..

Yep well done to brighton, just ran over reynella, after reynella were up most of the day.. I think fitness was the difference for sure. RBC probly finish the season where they deserved after losses to M.park and Noarlunga during the year. Brighton a chance next week ..
Happy valley a very dissapointing finish to the year for them!!!!

Great effort from the Bombers on Saturday. 26 points down halfway through 3rd quarter and then kicked the next 6 goals to go up by 11 pts with a few minutes left. Milo kicked a goal with 30 seconds left and Moore won the next centre clearance, but a timely mark at half-back secured the win for the Bombers. Game unfolded very similar to last years Prelim.

Really tough week for us after "Tailgate" and some of the crap Kingy and Tucks were put through. Kingy was sensational on Saturday and Tucker stood up when it counted, kicking the goal that put us in front in last quarter and doing some good work on Moore late. I'll give the Reynella recruits credit though. Moore, Mensforth and Butcher gave their all and can't be blamed for loss and Milo was always dangerous. I think theres a few others whose A grade days are numbered though. You guys know who he is but No. 7 paid absolute no respect to his opponent on the wing and was given a hiding. Only time got close to his opponent was a bit of "brave" push and shove before the first bounce. False bravado, but where were you when it counted buddy.

On Happy Valley, lost their last 3 games by 7 or 8 goals plus. What went wrong there. Went into finals with a couple of guys well past it. Highlights the problem of playing a run of easy games in middle of season. Too many average or ageing players can get by and impress in easy wins but are found wanting when it counts.

Well done to Porties and their coach. Just hope they can have a better Prelim than last year and even if they don't win, make Cove earn it.

DTH, Was number 7 for Reynella the one that administered a 'liverpool kiss' to BDOS no 41's chin?.. fair dinkum bad umpiring right in front of Clem ('weekend at bernies')... and then had the audacity to pay a free for a simple scrag in retaliation to give a goal to Reynella in the goal square..

I missed that incident KD (buying a beer at the time) other than seeing that Bomber players were livid with Clem (Bernie) for ignoring what he clearly must have seen.

Big Bomber vs Morphett Vale double this week with B grade on Saturday and A grade on Sunday. I think the MV B grade are vulnerable without the cool head of THE MEXICAN. Any thoughts Mex ?

Ha ha no muzzles in Emu Land boys, most of us are nursing hangovers after our C grade took out the flag yesterday. In fact the last i saw of The Mexican he was being refused entry to The Emu pub at around midnight (he exceeded his quota of 4 beers for the day) so we may not be hearing much from him today...

Watched Brighton on the w/end and was pleased to see them re group and bounce back, will be a cracker on Sunday at the Shoe v M/Vale. No atmosphere at C/Beach and a small crowd?
Watched Port/Noarlunga on Sunday and was impressed with some young lads who stood up when counted. Well done Pt Noarlunga.
Our boys had an indifferent day with Galbs boys going down against a very good H/Valley. We where all disappointed but they are all young lads and will be better for the experience.
Our 18 had a great win against a good M/Vale side but our hardness at the contest was a pleasure to watch and I am sure that anyone watching the game would have appreciated the skills and commitment from both sides. Well done lads and well done the Pink man. :)

Can someone post all the prelim matches for next weekend - We all know who is playing in the A's but who has made it through in Reserves, 18's 16's and 14's?

Holy sh!t i can barely focus on my keyboard men too many Tequilla's and Corona's i feel... DTH, should be a cracker on both days i think, the B's will be a very high standard with both side fielding quality personnel and your boys took the points last time so could go either way, likewise in the A's i reckon it will be a fierce contest and will be a great game to watch... Seems you "think" you have my identity hey DTH, don't be shy, come on over and i'll buy you a Corona, i'll be the one wearing the sombrero..!! :D

Good Post! =D> Does the SFL not have a rule that states an A grade side must not play a final on their home deck?

No such rule, in fact it will be the 2nd year running Porties have a home prelim.

Think you'll find that was last year, ZC. I agree that Port can't be written off, but I'll be very surprised if Cove choke.
