Abbs missed 4 games.
Cooney missed 0.
I rate the SFL umpires a lot lower in football and footballer knowledge than the AFL's. A lot.
No one speculated this much about the Mail Medal result.

COONEY Great that he won but this is about the SFL not the Touch footy League. Take the argument to the National Game thread, leave this site for the real footy.

Just thought I would let you all know that Aldingas Hosting a Legends Game this Saturday before the Grand Final.

Where: Shark Park

Time: 12:00 start

Sides: 2 sides featuring Over 50 players from the 80's and 90's

This will be a great atmosphere with alot of retired players seen over the last few months running laps at the oval to try and get the beer guts right.

The water bottles are full of scotch and Bbq will be blazing.

If anyones looking for a laugh as we unleash some of the Old Dogs to show us what new tricks they have come up with we'd be more than happy to accommodate. Bar will be open and should be a good start to a great day.

Just thought I'd invite all my fellow posters.

Fox you got the right idea. The rest of the wingers should take note.
If you don't like the current topic, START A NEW ONE. It's not rocket science.
By the way I think umpire voted awards which I think we may only have in Aussie Rules was were the Cooney topic was headed, oh and the fact he was a past SFL player that mentioned his roots provoked the discussion in the first place. That was a good thing, an SFL thing.

Shaking my head in disbelief. I thought Wikipedia was authentic. Sure know different now !!
DTH must love that comment about Brighton being arrogant, and the decription of Hackham is outrageous. The list of Premiers must have been provided from Bice Oval !!

The Wikipedia entry for Michael Tuck was classic. Altho it looks like they have removed the offending excerpt now.

Interestingly I have heard Reynella may go for a combined coaching option in the A grade for 2009. This being B grade coach Bomber and 08 Assist Coach Besley.

Have heard that Ben Camerom from Cove F.C found he had a blood clot in his head from the Grand Final last week and had to have an emergency operation and that he will never play Footy again.

Sad news for the Lad who has turned into a fine A Grader and a real dampner to everyone at Cove who should be celebrating without sad thoughts of one of there team mates.

Bad luck Ben a great career ended way too soon.

Jono can you fill us in.
