Go easy Fly, I have Heard the exact same rumour mentioned................
I know both these blokes and would have to say they are true club men and the club would be going down the right path if this is the case~..... in saying that i cant confirm if they have been approached.
FLY - do you think this would be a good move for your club if they did?

Sad news for the Lad who has turned into a fine A Grader and a real dampner to everyone at Cove who should be celebrating without sad thoughts of one of there team mates.

Bad luck Ben a great career ended way too soon.

Jono can you fill us in.

There you go again fly. Intelligent real intelligent. I'm not even having a crack at Reynella I'm just stating what I'm told from a reliable source. And if you read carefully it does state "may go for" not decided. It would also seem someone else has heard the same information. I imagine your probably only a small child so I won't waste my time explaining anything else to you. I'd probably need the Wiggles to translate.

Gee t express, you don't even seem to know what's going on at your own club. It doesn't surprise me though. As much as I hate to agree with 'fly' he is on the money, there are some strange things happening at Reynella. I have heard several rumours about players but I won't comment on them until I've confirmed them with someone reliable. In the meantime t express don't forget to take the 3rd right after you've passed wonderland which takes you onto the yellow brick road to where "everything is sweet and rosey at Reynella".

DTH On the Bombers and to a previous post who said we slipped this year. I think our A grade had a better year. We beat every side in the comp this season (last year we didn't beat Cove or Emus). We won one more minor round game with a tougher draw and had a much better percentage. Just so happens our worst game of the year was the Prelim. We still picked up B grade, Under 18 and Under 16 flags on Saturday. I could gloat even more and mention the Sunday 14 and Sunday 16 flags and even further with the Year 2/3 and Year 4/5 Lightning Carnival victories. Thats 7 flags out of 11 grades, so don't dismiss the Bomber Juggernaut over the next 5 years and beyond.

DTH bit like being a bridesmaid really all dressed up full of promise but still missout on scoring at the end of the day. also bit like a spare P**** at a wedding.

Heard some disturbing things from committe members flyer and seems some people put personal agenda before club agenda thats a disturbing thing at any club and dissapointing when it happens at the club you love.

I've been to plenty of weddings where the bridesmaids are hotter than the Bride. Bring on 2009 Vics01. I think Cove and Brighton (aided by a few "incidents" in recent times) are building a rivalry to one day match that of MV and Reynella.

Well, well, well ---- someone told me it was in "The Sunday Mail" yesterday, so I've just checked and there it was ---- the SFL Grand Final scores from the previous weekend !!!!
How did they get there ? The League didn't supply them with an extra set of scores (I've checked with the Secretary, and the only information they know about is what I sent through one hour after the match).
It appears they must have got it off my fax ON THAT DAY !!!
As I said a week ago, DTH ---- the fault was with the Sunday Mail itself !

Never doubted you BTP, but was impressed with Coves entry. Well done.

Great to have them, but not sure I like the vibes I'm hearing about their players' reaction. Sounds like a club that needs the whole body working in the same direction.
Meanwhile you're starting to worry me about Hilly, Shoe Boy. When I first heard on here that he wasn't well I assumed the 'flu, but your latest report has me concerned. I can understand if you can't elaborate, but how much more can you tell us about the level of seriousness.
Hillys' a top guy --- always has been, ever since he was a half-back flanker for the Navy Blue.

I hear they are NOT bringing their juniors along. They are staying back in their old league. If that's the case they can bugger off.
