Good reply Deemu.

What the **** is Magoo doing criticising someone's spelling and punctuation? Does he read his own posts?

My hero. I write fast and don't give a s***t bout my spelling. Fool. Have u got my crayons? As i think i've got ur premiership medals.

deemu, you are entitled to your opinion but maybe hilly sees a challenge ahead at mclaren - in probably a similar situation to what morphies were in 2000, 2001 before potsy took over. No club is perfect, while we under performed the last couple of years we do have a solid first 21 but lack depth with a couple of recruits and a solid game plan we will easily be better than the last couple of years. there are also 4 or 5 quality juniors who come up this year, if hilly has the goods (which can only be judged in time) we should be contenders in 2 to 3 years as the majority of our team is young. i do know some people at morphies dont rate hilly but he comes to us with a clean slate as i think only 1 player has ever played under him, how can you not appoint a coach who applies for the job with hillys record. i do realise that he was coaching morphies and you guys are a very good team /club but a premiership coach is still a premiership coach.
ps i dont know what magoos problem is i thought he was from willunga, maybe not!!!

I know what his problem is. He's stuck in a crows guernsey in the GSFL.
There's good people, and I have good mates at Mclaren but there's a select vocal few, with knives at the ready, that i have little time for. I guess time will tell but i can't foresee humble pie on my plate.

Having a bit of a discussion about the future of the SFL last night - we came up with a few ideas and I reckon this one is a deadset goer:

1. Hackham and Lonsdale merge to become the OSB/Lonsdale/Hackham GRIFFINS. :supz:
2. Guernsey - yellow, brown and maroon, in harlequin pattern a la Hawthorn 1995, and with a massive kick-arse griffin with lots of teeth on the front.
3. Recruit Jason Donovan to be Captain Griffin. (Can't remember why his name came up but I'm sure there was a reason for it.)

I couldn't think of anything to add to the Magoo-bashing and thought a change of subject was welcome.

Couldn't disagree more. There are enough players, juniors and seniors, in the SFL area to support the existing teams. Further to that, additional teams could survive in Woodcroft and Sheidow Park.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Hear that Matt Howes is back for 2009 for the Rams. Very hard solid footballer with Tailem Bend & Ironbank the last four, five years. Will be an assett for the Rams - Another home grown talent on the return. Brad Smith (Redmuff) to dominate up forward and kick ten on his brother Craig (M/Vale) Tarque Williamson evidently on board - good solid contributor each week - strong & passionate. Matt Morrissey looking at the B grade job & maybe playing. Sodomka looks a sure thing to join - Experienced player to help the younger players and still more than capable of having an impact. Tom Billings - Big man from Broken Hill that will dominate the big man department in 2009. Quite a few past juniours returning from playing seniors at other clubs over the last few years. Also rumour has it Barnaby French is a distinct possibility of fronting up for the Rams in 09. Older players into the squad will help a team that is lacking leadership get on the right track. Keep the news coming Rams - some players on early is always a handy thing!!!!! :-#

Why wouldn't Helen Keller's Dog come to her when she called?

You wouldn't come either if your name was nnnnnnnrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhttttttttttaaaaaaaaaa!

Please do not take offence on the joke - (Q) How do you get a nun pregnant?????

Good to hear Juicey, good news for the Rams if true. Always good to see a SFL club get stronger - and all the better when its not at the expense of another SFL club.

Crikey i wont be getting in the way when the Smith brothers go at it in the goal square when the Rams face the Emus, some HUGE bodies there!

I wouldn't be worried about the bodies, but if Redmuff is anything like Craig, you may leave the field bleeding from the ears...

good to hear another team getting stronger makes for another match during the season a bit more challenging. pretty hard playing in about 8 20 goal plus wins then coming up against the likes of morph vale too relaxed and unconditioned cos noone has pushed you.nothing like match fitness. the league needs 2 divs. might get a larger supporter base if people had something worth watching

To put this one to bed i was suggesting that Grape Ape would not need the Goolwa showers as he would be playing for Flagstaff Hill. So unless they are playing in the GSFL he wouldnt need them!!

Sorry about the confusion!!!
