We have been told we play Happy Valley at home round 1... Think the next 3 games are against Cove, Reynella and Edwardstown...

Not worth a pinch of salt. Marion payed him reasonable dollars and delivered nothing. Ended up playing B grade. Looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane. Are you looking at him shoe boy. He would only play b grade down there.

I also agree that this is a good thing, this is also away to show respect within the club and its supporters and another way is if you stuff up you can easily be reconised as one of the players ,coaches. or you are a supporter
but it has been said that all Senior Players and Coaching Staff are to wear the standard of clothing set out by the Club. There are a few other Clubs that have Coaches and Players on a dresscode look at Happy Valley
Go for it Reynella it will look Good .

Give me a break. I’m all for players having an off field uniform for before the game and presentation, club polo ect. But shirt and slacks saw this at a league clubs presentation one time the players look uncomfortable and I felt like I was at an insurance salesman’s seminar.

What is the use of a polo shirt in the middle of winter?

Unfortunately Everyone gets planning in the middle of summer...so we get Polo shirts and caps.
That is fine for pre season and the first 3 weeks and then for the Grand Final.

We all know Reynella do not make Grand Finals.
They just need winter uniforms

I think I'm with you Spanner. Matching Polo's / Jackets but nice black pants (please don't use the term slacks people, it tarnishes the tough image of our league) is a bit of a stretch.

The poor Reynella retailer who sells daggy trackies, ugg boots and moccasins, will go out of business. I've also heard that all players must use Prescott's hairdresser and beauty therapist. Surely Milo will be looking for a new club.

Firstly, What outrage can be expected? Certainly the bombers got it stiff this year? M/Parks will receive a far tougher draw, and conversely, the lions will be happy with an easier run. I wonder whether Edwardstown will be seeded, imagine if they were not and drew Hackham, aldinga, and Lonsdale twice?

Secondly, Any thoughts on the principles behind the current format that sees sides only playing teams twice if they finished around the same position on the ladder the previous year? If a team does markedly better or worse than the previous year, the positioning on the ladder tends to be rather exaggerated. The teams around the 6 - 10 mark seem to yo-yo depending on their respective draws.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.
