but it goes by as a club so teams who have better juniors will struggle in the a grade as such and vice versa get the end of the stick

The poor Reynella retailer who sells daggy trackies, ugg boots and moccasins, will go out of business. I've also heard that all players must use Prescott's hairdresser and beauty therapist. Surely Milo will be looking for a new club.

your a tool DTH i bet you go down to TAN EZY with kingy and hilly and the boys to look purdy!!!!

i dont mind this idea. i know it's taking professionalism to a new extreme in "country footy", but they will look good if they all rock up on a saturday dressed the same.

I also agree that this is a good thing, this is also away to show respect within the club and its supporters and another way is if you stuff up you can easily be reconised as one of the players ,coaches. or you are a supporter
but it has been said that all Senior Players and Coaching Staff are to wear the standard of clothing set out by the Club. There are a few other Clubs that have Coaches and Players on a dresscode look at Happy Valley
Go for it Reynella it will look Good .

Give me a break. I’m all for players having an off field uniform for before the game and presentation, club polo ect. But shirt and slacks saw this at a league clubs presentation one time the players look uncomfortable and I felt like I was at an insurance salesman’s seminar.

For everyone wondering its the club polo and black pants so we look as a unit thats all people!!

TXPRESS: It is a good thing, adds a little professionalism to the SFL, It has tried to be enforced at our club but not everybody has jumped on board, hopefully this year it will after all players are paid servants of the club.

i like the idea, it's not hard to look respectable for your club and its supporters, more clubs should follow. Definately alot better than teams running out holding onto each other to 'bond'...valleys...

so my source was correct?

if so, should the club spend up big for the upcoming season, or slowly recruit lots of players and hope they stick around for 5 or so years?

signing the big man from jervois has got me thinking they are out to but a flag next year!!

I think gone are the days of buying premierships, a champion team will always beat a team of champions - Just look at the Vales/Cove/Willungas - yeh they have their gun players but every player in the team are 'guns' in their own right. If Reynella can get the mix of players right they will be back up the top of the table, 21 men that want to play for each other, not themselves.

Good Post D.

Everyone needs to be heading the same direction and play as a team, that's the direction the new coach seems to be takingeveryone, which is good.

Anyone know much about this new recruit from jervois - any backround?
