And i here one very senior player is just hanging on. This is exciting times for the flies espescially if you have been a long time supporter like myself. The buzz around the footy the club will return hopefully. Also there may be a suprise come out the club soon with a new player of some ilk pulling on the black & white.

South Bogan, have these blokes been told not to come back as they are not worth the money they were on, or are they not a fan of Early? Seems like a reasonably big clean out!

And is Munce a Reynella junior? If so, it's a big harsh telling him not to come back.

Munce was an emu junior.

Spent several years with South juniors, reserves

I think that he had abrother at Reynella

Muncey played in Morphett Vales under 15 premiership win over Reynella in 2002 then moved to Reynella the following year, was back and forth from Souths Juniors for a couple of years.

Hello all please have a look at the attached link. The link relates to a charity event being run by THE COBRA FOUNDATION. This foundation was established by the Cove Football Club in 2005 to assist members of our sporting community who are suffering illness or injury and are in need of support both financial and other. It does not just support members of the Cove Football Club. It does and has supported members fromother football clubs and sports. The attached link relates to Cove fooballer Ben Cameron who suffered a serious injury in the 2008 SFL Grand

If i was the Duke of Earl and i was offered what he was at oval Rd, with no results expected in the first couple of years... i would've jumped at the opportunity too. Perhaps i'm a little too informed.. yet I'm not exactly sure what other coaches are on, but i'm pretty sure they would be green with envy should they know the details regarding this one....

is that right is it LK. it is a bit early to be speculating like that when you have not even seen what either team plays like yet. we may be a team that struggles but we still go out and represent the jumper week in week out. and people like you talking crap does not help our cause at all

A little sensitive. How does it hinder your cause? Hes made a statement and i think you wouldnt find too many who disagree.

Hopefully your mob are able to pull it together and give all sides a shake but with a realistic outlook i think even you would think its a tough ask first up?

i do take on what everybody says but we are trying to re-build a club that was once strong and just the general chit chat bagging the club gets around and makes it that little bit harder again to recruit coaching staff and players etc. luckily we have got coaches through every grade this year which is a huge plus. it is a long long road back to where we want to be(competitive) and yes you do take things personally when you are continuosly being talked about for all the wrong reasons.

Bitch and whinge all that you want but the only thing that's going to shut anyone up is what happens on the scoreboard.

Until you change that I suggest that you save your energy and do something constructive with it.

Didnt realise it was a crime for one to have an opinion, if it makes you feel better my team would get belted by them aswell come rd.1. I doubt any team would be comfortable playing them first up especially at Edwardstown as it is a very unique oval and one that can be hard to adapt to. I'd put money on them to beat Morphett Vale come rd.1 mate especially with the apparent concessions they are "supposidly" receiving. So no need to be offended, give me 1 reason why (Judging on previous form) my opinion should be different??

I could be wrong but were you on here a short time ago asking for confirmation regarding Lonsdale folding?? Now what is worse for a clubs image and recruiting players, sponsors and supporters 1. Asking on a public forum whether a club is dead and buried or 2. making an obvious remark about getting belted by a superior football club??? I'll let you decide that 1.........

I highlited that because I was not sure, I was just going by other posters comments regarding the points system being introduced and that with their new recruits it would appear that they would well and truly be over the points allowance allocated by the SFL. But they "might" be given extra points to get them on their feet. But I want to acknowledge that this is not confirmend from my knowledge and could just be a rumour.

How does this points system work? I'm aware of the concept but didn't think it was a part of the SFL set up? What players are worth what points? How many points does each club have to work with? Also I would imagine that it would be a good idea to have the 'lesser' teams with more points - a handicap type situation... Interested...

What a sense of relief watching the Rugby League final the other night, just backs up my theory that the best side does not always win the big one.
