Not expecting much out of him then?

N Bayly covers 60 goals a year...

depend where he plays, my prediction is him playing in the guts. if he plays more a forward role, who knows how many he'd kick. he was a handy goal sneak in the AFL.

Anybody thats played AFL is going to do fairly well in the SFL. Especially if they play for a top 3 side that already has quality players to back them up.

Hey Shoeboy I heard that you offered Rob Leyton $350 a game. Could quite possible be the biggest waste of money that you have thrown away. ^#(^

The money that the shoes are offering players this year is ridiculous, apparantly they are focusing on youth and they have 12 players coming out of the 18s and stepping up to seniors so where are they going to play if the $hoe$ money gets its way, but then they are offering anyone who is willing to talk to them crazy amounts of money! Sure will be some high paid b graders out there!

trying to buy premierships never work. the big money players will move on and leave the club with no flag and no money.

I think KD is right, no one has signed yet and they are upping the ante, with the players they are trying to get, the only thing they would be buying is a senior list of 50 overpaid b graders!

I've seen a lot of "big money" sides fall over at Prelim Final stage ---- that's when real love for the guernsey really kicks in.

yeah well thats when the egos are the biggest and if something happens that some people think makes them look bad the whole team breaks down. i would rather play for a struggling club then one that has a different team of 'gun players' on stupid amounts of money every year. this is amateur football after all. Definition of amateur: unpaid...

You have to love the crap that gets bantered around on this site.

Yes we are out there talking to lads that we want to bring to the footy club to assist with our young squad as I am sure all other clubs are also.(you know the old story of people that live in glass houses?)
As for Rob yes we have signed and nowhere near the money he was on or offered again this year or the coin quoted.

As for B grade players?? The couple of lads we have signed beside Rob would not be names known in our comp as they come out of the country comps and are quality footballers.
So in finishing YES we are out there and continue to talk to players that will bring the Noarlunga Football Club back to be a power in the SFL. and if others are not doing the same you are talking crap!!

Heard on the rumour mill that Hackham are chasing previous senior colt players from Dennis Kerrs premiership side at Mclaren. Good coin getting offered to train and play. Any confirmation on that Hawk boys. These players are good players but blow in and out through the season, not the type of players to be throwing money at, me thinks.
