BTP hit the nail on the head a few pages back... He's seen many a "money" team fail in a prelim or the "big stage"... These are the games were money counts for nothing... You need to rely on blokes that have a "true passion" for their mates and the gurnsey... Only way to do that is breed your own and create a culture where no one wants to leave and everyone wants to be a part of it..!!

Wouldn't have thought so... I think they have a crazy number of atleast a dozen or so who have the magical 5, BJ...?? Which means they have a huge amount of loyal footballers who would now be doing everything in their power to win Grand Finals..!! That is simply amazing, i know we had only 5 (Short, Pollard, Gaskin, Fishlock & Earl) going for 5 in this years GF...

11 of us have played in the 5 (Hams, Steele, Mcgowan, Portlock, Mcdonald, Carnevale, Radbone, Dobson, Wadewitz, Glass and Baxter). Theres another 3 or 4 that have played in 3 of them that played this year. There were 3 first time winners this year in Ryan, Genovese and Garrett.

SB any truth that J Rigney getting $200 a game to come to you boys? If true there is not 1 player at Willunga getting this amount so to even question whether we r an exception is ridiculous. Every club has a budget and ours would be no bigger than any others.

Jealous are you Shoe Boy that the coin thrown around by your club didn't pay sufficient dividends.

A) Willunga have developed the culture with juniors playing right through seniors B) several rather successful former juniors came back to the club B) They didn't drop an iota with the introduction of the points system C) Unlike say a Morphetville Park who have brought in a lot of imports, Willunga have depth.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Please remind me why we need a strong Reynella?
Can only think of one reason KD and that would be that it would be cruel of us to give Reynella so much SH!T if they were bottom of the ladder.
That used to be great fun!

Any news out there on how the Rams are shaping up... I know they've had a fair few training runs before XMAS, and yes it is only early days...

Got some new recruits on the track? is the coach doing the hard yards with the crew? Good numbers coming along? What's the vibe like?

No jelousy here we are aware of the mighty $$$$$ and we work within our budget!
We are also building a culture of our own juniours and are excited about the future at the Shoe.
Just on a note quite a few of the 11 that BJ noted are not bred at Willunga as you have stated EV
Have a good day as I have to go and party.

sometimes there is nothing you can do to hold onto players.

Fly if you are implying the committee is involved, atleast explain how? otherwise your Evans identity claims look more believable. Obviously Evans isn't happy with being given his marching orders, it seems you have taken this chance to jump back on the committee again. Surely if you were a player you wouldn't be voicing claims like this??
Flyer I am a Reynella player and have been for a long time.I am not Evans but liked him as a coach. The Reynella comittee is diplorable and does not handle things in a professional manner in regards to any matter concerning football because they lack any form of football intelligence and I along with a few of my teammates have had enough of incompetence and lies.It starts at the top and I do not trust the president who is an incompetent pretender just wanting the title next to his name without doing any decent work for the club. You can think what you like about me but I will still be busting a gut for that illusive A grade flag because I am loyal to the club I have always played for.To be honest I am sick of justifying myself to people like you who claim to support the club but by your own admission have had no involvement since retiring.Reynella footy club needs a complete overhaul but not returning to 1977 logic and methods would have been a good start.
A question for you Flyer Why have we lost abot 15 players in the last 2 years?????????
dont come on here and post that s***t and call youself the fly!!! get your hands dirty around the club and no a keyboard does not count!!
funny what happens when some PEOPLE leave a club, all of a sudden even the WINEFLY followers are having a go at each other.......... bit of unrest behind close doors hey EXPRESS?

Mate i really dont think u understand how many quality players are playing away from m/vale due to money or other reasons.from the side that lost to cove this year hear are a few names that are playn else where-Ewer,Hodge,Schmidt,Mahoney,Wilsons x2,Beeching,Harris,Erickson,Hewitt,Nadilo,Ritter,and could probably keep going. So u can call it one eyed all ya like but the bottom line is if m/vale could find any kind of cash that could match big spending clubs then yes not even cove would get close(willunga included) to m/vale.
