How bout you tell us about your success ASERTor maybe mention how loyal a player you are to your footy club/s??????

As for dirty players, i think most good sides need one, if they can put doubt into an opposition players mind job half done before the contest gets underway. A Hard nosed dirty player with great footy skills are hard to come across!!!

I agree Red i think most successful sides have a couple of players who have a bit of shit in them.I reckon Kain Hewitt is one of these players but is a great player as well.Players like this make others in the team walk a bit taller when there on the park with them. While not condoning thuggery on the footy field, you need to be able to stand up for yourself.

every good side is hard at the ball and the body, they may not necessarily snipe you but they sure let you know your playing against them, but i dont get all the whinging, we dont have to put up with half the the shit blokes put up with years ago

Not one player on your team should be soft...especially in A grade...if they're not gonna hit a contest as hard and fair as they can whats the point of being there. Yes you need running players, but what happens when those running players are heading into a one on one contest. If they dont put their head down and hit the body, they should be on the pine...just my opinion...

Yeah good to see a local face who has seen the sights of other clubs and clearly has a bit of exp under the belt feel free to come out when ever you want and hopefully we'll put on a propper show not just a kick and a catch (with a few extra k's included ;) )like last night.
As for TBB He's never too far away probably peekin thru the bushes, maybe with a little VASO!

Hey asert some players just dish up crap like that and think they are quallity for doing it. I don't agree with it but it has become part of the game. SSS I would like to have seen you playing in the amateur league in the early 90's. I think you would of had a few tears as 3/4 of teams were made up of the players you think are quality players but most people would call them thugs. Im talking about teams like Kilburn, Riverside, Modbury,TTP, Salisbury Central and so on. If you guys think the Drapers were the so called thugs of the SFL they were placid even if they did hold back alot. Also hackam hawk sice when does a running player get involved in a 1 on 1 contest? shouldn't they be running past at the correct time to receive the peel?

i think you will find sss is someones 2nd or possibly more identity hence the low number of posts. im all for the rough stuff dont get me wrong if someone is there to be hit drop them on their ar3e but within the rule book. obviously there are scraps and fair enough we are passionate about what we are doing but if you feel the need to snipe someone out of the spirit of the game then you dont have my respect.
