Morphie Vs Willunga

Postby ex diver » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:31 pm

Well it seems that The Mexican was wrong everybody. After he made the statement to myself that Morphies would put out Willunga by 8 Goals, it`s good to see that the arrogance of these Emus supporters can finally be thrown back at them.
Maybe this will be a sign of things to come this year from the boys down in the hood.

Well, I've heard a few rumours of late from emu land. Not too sure to the truth of some of it, but it does come from a reliable source. i'm not starting stuff, just interested if anyone else has heard anything simmilar. Apparently more than a few players are very unhappy with the coach after a HARD preseason and some big name palyers wont be playing this year. I believe one of the J brothers has quit and one is playinfg for South. Also heard one premiership senior player has got himself into trouble in Canada and is facing serious criminal charges. I wont name any names..

Morphie boys any truth to any of this?

What a toser you are Ex Diver. Don't ever PM me again asking my opinion on what i think... You asked me through the back door how serious we were taking the game, i told you quite seriously and if past experiences were anything to go by then i didn't think Willunga would put up much chop as we had defeated them convincingly the last 2 years, then sprout on here how arrorant we/I am. 4 goals up at 3/4 time and went down by a point, Pollard, Gaskin and Bennets all on the bench in the last... Throw whatever you like at us/me Ex Diver, one's things for sure your mob won't be troubling too many come late September...

Good mail there Flyer, Matty J is having some time off, through no other reason that he is tired of footy at the moment, we've all been there during our career's, some people battle through it and others need some time off. It's been a tough pre-season but numbers suggest that all is well, can't tell me that with 40+ blokes training some aren't going to complain about how hard things are going, no real concern here IMO. Sammy J made his debut for South league on friday night and played the 2nd half and did quite well. Not sure on the latest of our O/S mate, i'm sure all is well as this news is now nearly 12 months old. I'll keep you posted.

Are Porties playing Morphies in a trial in a few weeks?

From what ive heard (and it was from a Morphett Vale person) Porties have recruited a couple more players and will be a tough proposition with there younger guys having improved greatly last year and mixed with some talent brought in should do well this year.

It sounds as if Porties have recruited a few players this season so they should be alright again (remember they finished top 4 last season). Altho Brown the association ruckman is still O/S so not sure if he will be playing in 08. They'll be a toguh team to beat especially at porties.

Answer me this Diver, if we had beaten Willunga by that amount would you still be spruking or would you wait for an opportunity to PM me through the back door waiting for me to get a tip wrong then posting this rubbish...?? I'll keep talking you can be guaranteed of that, as i previously stated you asked me what i thought the result would be, funny how footy can change around and un expected results happen every now and then, get over what ever problem you have, cause i must say things on here were a lot better before your 4 quality postings... If you want respect on here post something sensible or better still don't post at all...

To answer another of your statements Diver, what ever the result in a couple weeks, what will this mean...??

Thanks to the two "lovebirds" Chucks and Mexican, im well aware that trial matches have no premiership points but a good result for us may at least burst some of your arrogance which is getting tiresome.

Great theory Diver, what a football brain you own, you are not enhancing your reputation on here at all, just another background sledger with nothing constructive to say. We already have enough of those on here.

Becareful Diver those Love birds get touchy!
Least Mex isn't talking about how much he drinks these days and just talking footy. Well done Willunga good effort to beat Morphies.
I reckon the best game would be MVale Vs Goodwood saints both at full strength as far as amatuer footy goes!

Explain to me why the Emus in your eyes are rated higher than the Demons? Both sides are evenly matched as the 1 point margin suggests.

The emu's have owned the sfl for the past 8 years whitch most would rate the second best comp behind div1,1 point trails dont mean shit when one teams going flat chat and the other is using it for a hit out.

So Wattle which team was going flat chat? I think you should rethink your argument and get back to me on that as neither side were goin flat out or playing anywhere near there best!

Fair enough Wattle. We had no bigger point to prove than MV did. If anything as they say they have beaten us the last couple of years for whatever reason but this year we had more players available than other years and i think we got a closer result becuase of that.

Doesnt matter, a trial game is a trial game, the real stuff starts in a couple of years and from here we build into another season to hopefully play some finals and in the end try to win the flag.
