Hey guys, thought I'd start a thread on finals discussions for 2008- selections, reviews, previews, taunting, betting (More odds please petoe) etc.... post them here

I'll get started- Brighton v Reynella toss of the coin job, our boys definitely played the flies back into form, and Brighton werent too far from Cove. If the flies jump out to a good start they will be hard to peg back.

Valleys v Porties- The Valley were spanked by the all conquering emus last start, and Porties got the chocs over this years surprise packet of Twisties. Think the Vikings may bounce back here.

Don't be so quick to write of Port just yet! I have said look at some of the names in the side, and as seen last year against Cove anything can happen.

ok. cheers. Thought he was out there against the emus on saturday....obviously he wasnt. He's kicked a few goals this year. Is he returning from injury or dropped due to form does anyone know (makes it a bit tough when Valleys arent allowed to post)

for the record Id have $100 ($300) on Emus and a $10 ($110) saver on Brighton.
3.50 about mannion is good odds as well. ill put $20 ($70) on that.
my last $100 ($250) would be on vick to win the medal.

all in all nice odds.

Whats wrong with McConnell, any gos there, will he play this week and will Mckenzie play up Forward Or Down Back, might be a bit sombre this week down Valleys and will Porties pull the upset like they did last year to Cove.

Tips:

As I said before I think I will just be happy with the hunjy I put on the emus @ $3 a few weeks ago.

If cove were to win i think Vick would need 35+ possessions. Not entirely out the question so $8 is a reasonable price.

Bodey is a pretty laconic sort of a lad - dont think the big stage would unsettle him (didnt last year), in fact he might not even realise its the GF. I will put $20 on him.
