Both Cove games would be worth watching!

Flinders Park beat us by 23 goals in our trial with them last year. And Marion beat us by about the same so it could be close.

not that it is an excuse but it was about 35 degrees and half the team played both grades. but good luck to marion, it will be a good game. they will need to shut kluzek and pesch down early if they are still playing there.

Marion & Flinders Park play for a annual pre-season cup between the clubs each year - think it has been going for a number of years now - unsure of recent results though - as long as it is a good hit out and no one gets injured who gives a toss about the result anyway but I am tipping the Rams :D

Actually now that i think about it we had a way stronger team against Flinders Park then we did against Marion. So probably shouldnt compare how good the teams were by the margins. Flinders Park won both As and Bs flags last year and are now Div 2 so should be a VERY big challenge for Marion. But we have the same challenge for points in Rd 1 with Townies so good luck Marion.

Who cares about a win/loss ratio for trial games ??
What do they ever prove ? ---- great for preparation, but results mean nothing.
