Hey all hope everyone had a good weekend.

Just curious if anyone has confirmations on who will be in this Carnival coming up.

I know Aldinga are definitely in and have heard rumours about Encounter Bay and Goolwa maybe, anyone got any more info?

I believe I read somewhere that the comp is open to any clubs affiliated with the GSFL or SFL.

Lonsdale are Glenelg zoned so in your list if you're correct about it being South zoned clubs only.

I hadn't heard of it just being limited to South Adelaide Zoned clubs? Maybe I'm wrong but then why is Juicy confirming Marion are in, makes no sense.

How did all sides go in the comp I believe Cove fielded their 18 side?

Aldinga beat Yank first game then lost to Victor.
Marion lost to cove then beat Yank.
Cove beat marion then lost to victor then lost again the GF.

Aldinga played pretty well against Yank and probably would have scared marion. A young side that probably lacked a bit of pace, body strength and polish. But they look like they finally have a game plan so well done to the new coaching staff so far!

Marion struggled with skill level and pace of the game, but looked young in some spots. They struggled in the back half with simple skill errors. Big red muff up forward looks like his going to be a big inclusion this year.

Cove looked good against marion in the first half then didnt see too many premiership players again. Seemed to play a young side with a number of u18. Got shown up by a faster stronger Victor unit.

Victor were super! Ran hard skillful and just out classed all. Look out in the GSFL this year if victor get space to run they look alright! Thier new player coach was awesome.

Heard that two brothers playing for Victor on the weekend were offered a deal by the AFL indigenous program to play reserves for Sydney Swans. The deal was offered to them earlier this year.
Was great to see a 14 year old backing himself on the day and having a real crack, almost scored his first senior goal too.

They would hav ebeen the Love brothers i'm assuming. They don't actually play for Victor but are doing a bit of preseason with them after walking out on Encounter Bay. They are headed up to play for Campbelltown or someone who is the Swans baby brother team.
