The Lovelock Shield appears dead.

BUT the SFL and the HFL have struck a deal for the next 10 years which will see the 2 comps play each other in under 13/15/17 and A grade on the Sat of the long w/end.(junior grades could change to 14/16/18) but it will happen with HFL hosting the first year and alternate year after. Dont recall the ground but it will be played under lights/trophys have been named/medals named/and HFL have even appointed their coach in B James!!

Dissapointing for all that would love to see the Lovelock and the rivalry with the GSFL but I believe the admin of another league couldnt come to the party so we at least get association footy.

Played at Hahndorf in the first year.

Still an option in the contract for GSFL and RMFL to join in, but the strength of SFL juniors makes it hard for those leagues to have an even contest beyond senior level.
