Perfect gig for Jars. Little to no pressure. If he can win 3 games he will look like a mastermind.

Word I heard is that he'd had a difference of opinion regarding lower grade coaches

Why are you typing like someone from another club ?
I'm not real close with the footy at Porties.
What I did hear was he had differences with a lower grade coach and wasn't willing to work things out.

Water under the bridge now but interesting that the A grade coach walks and the lower grade coach stays... all the best to Jars at Porties and I hope he is up for the battle as I don't want to see a high profile coach just walk in and walk out as that would be a ordinary look for the club and the SFL.....

Flaggies are on fire. Zane Kirkwood to coach them and Sam Jacobs on board with Josh Rosman who was Ironbank’s captain and 2022 best and fairest.

A New Year is upon us and a new footy season not far away. For interest I would like to know who are the nine A grade coaches for season 2023. Perhaps readers can help compile a list. My contribution:

Flaggies; Zane Kirkwood.

Went out for a look at the L.Creek vs Pt Noarlunga trial Saturday.
Know L.Creeks team well they are a very drilled outfit, but had never seen Pt Noarlunga play.
They lost by around 12 goals only kicking 3 or 4 for the game.
Heard on the day they have had big numbers on the track & had quiet a few new
recruits this year.
Porties looked fairly fit & had a big ruckman from Westies apparently.
Tom Redden from Strath is a handy pick up rarely gets beaten one on one down back.
Surprised to see Karpany from Encounter Bay who has put on a few kgs & was put in the back lines which I’ve
never seen before.
Lacked a tall target up forward but being a trial I’m not sure how many they had out.
Positive signs to work with for the season ahead.
