Seems the appointment didn't last long... Pretty poor from Crabb.

Why the hell would anyone stay with so much uncertainty surrounding their future, and with their reputation clearly in tatters. Few weeks ago they didnt even look like they'd have a club.

Comment was more from reading/hearing the line about a new born baby and running his own plumbing business... Whether the Cove issues came to light or not these two factors were happening anyway. So to say "Crabb decided that with a newborn child, more responsibility with his plumbing business and publicity and uncertainty about Cove’s football future would have been too much for a new coach." is a bit of a stretch.

Should have just said the last comment and been done with it.

Gotcha.. but they do also all relate - with Cove's football future at the forefront, it's bound to impact on the other two areas - even more so if they survived and had to work hard to make changes, i'm sure he would've felt greater pressure and been required to invest more.

Probably right though, the last part of his comment would've sufficed.

If that is the case one would imagine Cove need to release him from a contract.

riverland league is a lot stronger than the southern league. only 2 or 3 decent sides in the southern league so expect him to kick a 100 easy

Lets put it to bed , Nick Mott will be playing for MT Compass in 2020 , Sam will be playing at Padtheway 2020 . As for Hamilton I have no idea who he is ? did he play at the Shoe .

The club is looking forward to the 2020 season under Josh Thewlis .
