I have heard another player walking out on M/Vale - Carpenter.... I can only see his playhq stats but seemed to played a fair bit of A grade. Also on the grapevine Shoes are struggling with numbers on the track with a few lads all moving on... On a positive hearing plenty at H-Valley, Cove, Ironbank and Christies that will be on the charge to catch the top 3 but I still feel a fair way to go for these teams to catch Porties, Flaggies and Reynella.

I've heard the outs outweigh the ins for the Shoes. Has Carpenter retired, he'd be mid 30's.

Valleys will challenge Porties, I think, for 3rd spot. They had a good team last year and have added quite a few handy types for the midfield. Cove will get off the bottom and look to push for 5th spot with Ironbank. Reckon there will be daylight between the top 8, and the Emus and the Sharks scrapping it out for the spoon. the league looks as competitive as it has for a long time.

yeah Vikings beat Porties last year and the ins that people have mentioned are SANFL players. Vikings and Cove to be the big improvers this year if preseason counts. Wineflies a mystery, many outs but no ins that I seen. Premiers will have new players but they haven't announced any.

Shoes pick up a former Glenelg junior, Dusty Inglis, a big bodied mid. Should be very handy for them.

Looks like he doesn't hang around if the season looks like it's going to be a bust before the transfer period ends

Slightly concerning viewing on the socials, I've seen Christies, Aldinga & Morphett Vale advertising for senior players.

I'm hoping it's to shore up numbers so clubs can have a C grade team, but given most people would expect the Sharks and Emus to fight it out for the spoon, it's not a great look.

Any rumors on the Wineflies? Huge retirements and no annoncements for ins. Strange for the premiers to not reload after beating the Falcons.

I think most clubs would still be pretty happy to have a list like Reynella.... Happy Valley apparently flying at the moment and Porties quite and likewise Christies Beach but did hear they got a ruckman who is pretty handy.

Christies did? They certainly needed one, ran pretty undersized last year.

Winies will still be up the top of the ladder if Borholm & Semple are their only outs, even if rumours around Sam Whitbread not playing are true. They have great depth and great juniors, they'll be fine.

Only things ive heard and its a bit old is Borholm, Semple Whitbread out the Souths players they got in towards the end of last year are back at Souths. Thats 6 out of their GF winning team. The reserves looked solid last year but not world beaters. Not saying the Wineflies will be terrible but not recruiting after winning the flag is unsual.
