Take 2
This Saturday sees club legend Wade Stone play his 330th Senior game to become the record senior games holder for the Flagstaff Hill Football Club.
Anyone involved with the FHFC knows Wade and what a club stalwart he has been. Everyone get out there and support him on his big day!
Congrats big fella!

Just spoke with him and wished him all the best for tomorrow.
He looks like a warrior with the battle scares from last week still visable.
CONGRATS Wade

Well done to Wade. One of the most respected people of the Flagstaff Hill Footy Club. Was a great A grade captain and always lead his team by example.Courageous and tough on the field and a great leader of the field.
Hope you have a great day Stoney and the boys bust their backsides to give you a win on this special day

Great effort by the Flaggies 2's today to score a big win for Stoney's big day.
Well done Wade, a true champion of the FHFC and the SFL !!!
The man himself put in his usual solid performance, capped off by a lazy couple of goals in the last quarter ... his old man reckons that brings his career tally to 9 or 10 !!
.... and watch out, the fat old bloke might even equal the record again today if the numbers in the C's don't improve rapidly

Guess we can always do another banner next week, eh ?

How many games did Fletch end up playing? I would have thought he would have been pretty close

Only played the 171 Games mate, 22nd on the list. Long time since he played, but your memory must be a bit out

Yeah, 171 is for Flaggies. Fletch also played a bit at Camden before he came to us, a season at Christies (if my memory serves me right) and the last 2 or 3 years at Morphy Parks.
Don't think he was really all that old - just looked it !!

I was impressed you got a coherent sentence or 2 out. Great work mate!
PS asert your misses definitely had me covered cos I hadnt even seen the questions until I read them! Lucky we shafted you a question, otherwise you would have only lost by 1, which would have been worse!

Just want to post again how fantastic I think that Wade Stone now holds the club record for games played at Flaggies !
Wade has played at Flaggies in juniors and graduated into seniors - worked his way up from C's to Captain of the A's - and also made a HUGE contribution to the club on a committee level.
I had the pleasure of playing with Wade, working with Wade around the club and socialising with him.
The fat old bloke only held the record by accident, waiting for someone worthy to take it off him - and Wade is all of that. We should remember that another true champion of the Flagstaff Hill Footy Club - Doug Degenhardt - held the record for about 20 years ... and thoroughly deserved it with a massive number of A grade games & A grade B'n'Fs with the club from way back in the old United Church League through to the SFL.
So well done Wade, whatever the numbers say it's really Dougy's record you've broken - and you're both true champions of the FHFC !!!
